6-Star Raids are not available until you comlpete the Main Story and participate in the Academy Ace Tournament for the first time.
![]() Jacq will call you and inform you about 6-star raids. |
![]() Head to the location marked on you map. |
![]() Interact with the Tera Crystal to begin the raid battle. |
After completing the Ace Academy Tournament, Jacq will call you and talk about dangerous new Raids appearing; however, you still won't unlock 6-Star Raids until you complete 8-10 offline or online 4-Star Raids or higher either in your game world or someone else's. Note that there is no way to tell which Tera Crystals have 5-star raids while offline, so you will need to search until you find one.
After you've done cleared enough Tera Raids, you'll get a call from Jacq saying that 6-Star Raids have appeared in Black Crystals on the map. Go to one of these spots and you'll find a 6-Star Raid Pokemon!
Once you've fully unlocked 6-Star Tera Raids, look for black Tera Raid map icons with a purple aura surrounding them. These symbols indicate that there's a 6-Star raid waiting for you at that location.
The reward pool for six-star Tera Raids are divided between the pattern of rewards that you can get from completing the raids.
Depending on the group, you may get Feathers, Berries, or Nature Mints which can modify a Pokemon's HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed EVs.
EVs, IVs, and Natures Explained
If you are looking to farm for Herba Mysticas, aim to beat raids belonging to the HP EV-Type raid group. You have a chance to get more Herba Mysticas from raids belonging to this pattern, compared to only getting one from other raids.

6-Star Raids are very difficult to overcome. We recommend doing each of the following before attempting any 6-Star Raids. You'll likely be able to pull through even if your Pokemon is not fully EV & IV trained, but we recommend putting at least some investment into HP and your attacking stat.
Best Pokemon for Tera Raid Battles
The location of 6-Star Raids will change as soon as the internal clock for your switch hits 12am. This condition applies even if you change the time manually, so make use of this feature if you need more time to train your Pokemon.
Note that as of now, **only one Tera Crystal for 6-Star raids will appear on you map.
How to Change the Date and Time
