Addresses an oversight which locks Pokemon Scarlet Players out of crafting TM 223 Metal Sound. Addresses an oversight to the move Dragon Cheer, where its effect lingers even after switching out the Pokemon. Fixes a bug which causes button input to become unresponsive when levelling Inkay up using Rare Candy or Exp. Candy while below level 30. |
Version 3.0.1 will address oversights and bugs that arose with The Indigo Disk Part 2 DLC. This will allow Pokemon Scarlet players to also have a method of crafting TM 223 Metal Sound, and remove a bug which caused Dragon Cheer to linger even after switching out the ally it was used on.

Fixing an issue where your victory against a trainer may not be recorded under certain conditions, preventing you from progressing certain sidequests or getting rewards for winning such as from League Officials in Paldea and the Kitakami Ogre Clan. Fixing a bug preventing special Pokemon originating from Pokemon GO from being moved to Scarlet and Violet even if that species of Pokemon was already transferable before in Scarlet and Violet Version 1.3.2 or earlier. Other bug fixes.

An update coming in the first half of October 2023 will fix an important issue that prevented players who have defeated most of the Trainers in Paldea and Kitakami from progressing in the Kitakami Ogre Clan side quest or from receiving rewards from League Officials.

Pokemon HOME Version 3.0.0 Compatibility Patch Update (May 30)
Prior to the 3.0.1 update, certain Pokemon, namely Hisuian Zoroark, Hisuian Goodra, and Overqwil, did not recieve a Jumbo Mark in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) even though they were classified as Alphas in Legends: Arceus.
The bug has since been fixed and will recieve the proper Mark if redeposited to Bank, save and quit, and move it back into Scarlet or Violet!
How to Transfer Pokemon from Pokemon HOME
Released in June 28, 2023, a new patch update was released for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to adjust game mechanics in preparation for upcoming live tournaments.
1.3.2 Live Tournament Patch Update
The Pokemon HOME compatibility update maintenance began at May 29, 5PM PST (May 30, 0am UTC)! The estimated maintenance time could last for 6 hours, ending at May 29, 11 PM PST (May 30, 6am UTC), at which point players can finally start transferring Pokemon from HOME to Scarlet and Violet.
According to the Maintenance notice on the Pokemon HOME app, users will be able to log in at staggered times, to avoid server strain on Pokemon HOME's servers. It is expected that some players will be able to transfer their Pokemon immediately after the update at 11pm PST, but some players might access Pokemon HOME much later.

Compatibility Patch Update
Starting May 25, 2023, a new patch update will release for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to address issues affecting Japanese and Korean players qualifying for the National Championships and World Championships.
Affected players have already received emails addressing the issues encountered during the online competition.

On April 19, the version 1.3.0 update for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet has been released!
With this update, we have gotten support for those who were affected by the Bad Egg Bug, fixes for bugs in link battles, and other feature adjustments that affected game progress, among other updates. Be sure to download this update to access online functionability.

The servers last went down on September 19, 2023 due to unknown reasons. However, the servers are now up and running properly.
Server maintenance affects all internet capability of the game. This includes Co-Op Tera Raid Battles, Online Matches and Trading, and Pokemon HOME Battle Data.

On Monday, February 27, the version 1.2.0 update for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet has been released!
With this update, we have gotten new features, new functionality for Pokémon Boxes, and fixes for bugs that affected game progress, among other updates. Be sure to download this update to access online functionability.

If your update still would not push through, check if your Switch is connected to the internet.
You can check your internet status by going to the System Settings from the Home screen, and selecting Internet on the left tab.
If the problem persists, you can try restarting your Switch or your router.
You can check if your software is up to date after pressing the + button on the Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet application while on the Home Screen. It will be under the title on the top left corner.
