Leftovers |
The best Ability for Crabominable is Iron Fist, which gives it more power to its Punching moves like Drain Punch and Ice Punch.
We also recommend getting a Crabominable with a Fighting Tera Type to further boost the damage of Drain Punch. As a Physical Attacker, Adamant nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize
This OHKO EV Spread should lean towards Bulky Offense. Max out your Atk and HP EVs. Give it Leftovers to help Crabominable recover HP in between turns.
Turn-by-Turn Raid Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1 | Use Chilling Water to reduce the damage Crabominable will take from Physical moves. |
Turns 2~4 | Use Bulk Up to boost both offense and defense. |
Turns 5~7 | Use Drain Punch or Ice Punch to deal large damage while also building your Tera Orb's charge. |
Turns 8+ | Terastallize and use Drain Punch or Ice Punch to deal large damage while also replenishing HP. |
Start the raid by using Chilling Water to build Tera Orb charge while also lowering the Raid Boss's Attack stat. Use Bulk Up to boost your own Attack and Defense.
Repeatedly use Drain Punch or Ice Punch to whittle down the Raid Boss's health. Once you have enough Tera Orb charge, Terastallize and repeatedly use Drain Punch or Ice Punch until you finish the raid.

Super Effective (2x) |
|

Not Very Effective (x0.5) | |
No Effect (x0) |
This Fighting Tera Raid Build is an effective counter to Ice, Normal, Rock, Dark and Steel Tera Raids.
If the Tera Raid Boss is usually a Fighting, Rock, or Fire-type outside of Terastallization, perhaps use a different build as Crabominable will be weak to these Types.

Choice Band |
This OHKO team strategy requires a Physically offensive Crabominable, along with a Support Perrserker, Glalie, and Stonjourner to one-shot any Raid Boss weak to Fighting with Close Combat.
We also recommend getting a Crabominable with a Fighting Tera Type because this is its default Tera type, as to not waste Tera Shards. As a Physical Attacker, Adamant nature would be best.

#1 | Go All Out! Cheer | Screech | Frost Breath | Close Combat |
This OHKO team strategy requires a dedicated team with Glalie to trigger Anger Point, a Stonjourner to provide Power Spot support, a Murkrow for priority Screech, and a Physically Offensive Crabominable to deal as much damage as possible with Close Combat.
At the start of the raid, Glalie should use Frost Breath on Crabominable to activate Anger Point. Murkrow should use Screech on the Raid Boss to lower its Defense by two stages, while Stonjourner should use a Go All Out! Cheer.
Once all the animations are finished, Crabominable should then use Close Combat, which should deal enough damage to OHKO the Raid Boss.
