A Timid nature is preferred to help Kommo-o outspeed fast Pokemon like Flutter Mane and Chien-Pao after a Clangorous Soul boost.

Stealth Rocks are great for Kommo-o to prevent Pokemon with Sturdy, Disguise, and Focus Sash from knocking it out after tanking one hit. Also Landorus Therian is a great partner for Kommo-o since it can help deal with Pokemon that wall it, while also providing U-Turn support to allow Kommo-o to switch into Pokemon that cannot threaten it.

Friend Guard Clefairy is an excellent partner for Kommo-o, as it can improve its bulk with Friend Guard and redirect attacks away from it. Additionally, Sinistcha can come in and help Kommo-o recover HP with its Ability Hospitality.

Landorus-T with Choice Scarf can help the team deal with threats with a fast Tera Blast, or fishing for Rock Slide flinches. It can also deal good damage with Stomping Tantrum or pivot out with U-Turn.
