Download the Mythical Pecha Berry Mystery Gift and examine the pink object at Peachy's in Kitakami to start the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Epilogue for The Indigo Disk DLC. Read on to learn how to start the Mochi Mayhem DLC Epilogue, release date and time, and what to do if you cannot access the Epilogue.
List of Contents
One of the requirements to unlock the epilogue is to beat the Academy Ace Tournament at least once. You can take on the Academy Ace Tournament after rematching all of the Gym Leaders.
This can be done after completing the base game, which means finishing the three main routes—Victory Road, Path of Legends, and Starfall Street—as well as The Way Home.
You also need to finish the two parts of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC — The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk.
Both stories will allow you to catch the legendaries Ogerpon and Terapagos. If you've already caught these Pokemon, that means you've finished the DLC main story and are eligible to play the Epilogue.

Go to Peachy's Store in Mossui Town, Kitakami. This can be found to the east of the Community Center.
Displayed at Peachy's Store and to the left of the shopkeeper is a "dusty old decoration." Once you've obtained the Mythical Pecha Berry, interact with this object to initiate a short cutscene.
After completing this cutscene, the Epilogue Quest Mochi Mayhem will be unlocked, and you will be asked to return to your house at Cabo Poco in Paldea to continue the rest of the epilogue.
Pokemon DLC Epilogue Story Walkthrough
If the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Epilogue is not working for you despite following the steps above, check to see if the Mythical Pecha Berry is in your Key Items pocket. If it isn't, try getting the Mystery Gift again.
You'll know if you've finished both the Teal Mask and Indigo Disk DLCs if Terapagos is registered in your Pokedex. Catching Terapagos is the last thing you need to do in order to finish the entire DLC storyline.
If it isn't in your Pokedex, that means you haven't finished the Indigo Disk DLC. If Ogerpon is not in your Pokedex either, that means you haven't finished the Teal Mask DLC.
If the Epilogue is still not working, try going through the Academy Ace Tournament again. It can't hurt to double check if you've really finished it!
If you're unable to do the Academy Ace Tournament, visit each of the Paldea Gym Leaders to see if you've finished your rematch against them.

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC
The Epilogue is additional free content for players that have purchased the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. You will need to meet certain conditions to unlock this story, but you are not required to pay an additional fee to play it!
However, those who only have the base game cannot access this Epilogue, so it isn't truly free for all Scarlet and Violet players.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC
We believe that the Epilogue's story will be based on the Japanese folklore “Momotaro”.
In the story, a little boy named “Momotaro” or “Peach Boy” befriended a talking dog, monkey, and pheasant who helped him fight the ogres in “Onigashima” or “Demon Island” that terrorized Momotaro's town.
This Japanese folklore has a lot of similarities with The Teal Mask's story. The only difference is that the ogre, which we assume is Ogerpon, is not really the bad guy in Teal Mask.
What's more, The Loyal Three — Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti — are the ones terrorizing Ogerpon and not the other way around.
We believe that in the Epilogue, the player might be able to free the Loyal Three from their toxic chains so they can fight alongside Ogerpon to defeat an unknown enemy.
The Teal Mask DLC Story Walkthrough
Most of the Special Coaches in the special coaches feature of The Indigo Disk DLC have been unlocked except for 3 Question Mark Sillhouettes. Finishing the Epilogue will unlock Nemona, Arven, and Penny.
All Special Coaches Trades and How to Unlock
Pecharunt is a Poison/Ghost-type Mythical Pokemon that can be encountered in The Indigo Disk Epilogue. Pecharunt serves as the leader of the The Loyal Three in Kitakami, where the epilogue takes place.
Pecharunt has the signature move Malignant Chain, a damaging special move which has the chance to badly poison a target. This synergizes with its Poison Puppeteer ability, which allows Pecharunt to confuse a target if it manages to poison it.
To encounter Pecharunt, you need to complete the base game's story, clear the Academy Ace Tournament, and finish both The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk's stories. You also need to get the Mythical Pecha Berry item via Mystery Gift, which is available starting January 11, 2024.
