The best ability for Zamazenta in Tera Raid Battles is Dauntless Shield. This ability synergizes well with Body Press, an attack which relies on the user's Defense stat. This build takes advantage of that combo and frames Zamazenta as a Fighting Tera Type attacker.

It can also hold a Shell Bell to help Zamazenta recover health as it attacks.

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards bulky offense. Max out your HP and Def EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Special Defense.

Tera Raid Strategy

Zamazenta Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Light Screen or Reflect to help the team take more hits.
Turns 2~4 Use Iron Defense to build up Zamazenta's Defense stat.
Turns 4~7 Use Body Press or Brick Break to deal damage and charge up your Tera Orb.
Turns 8+ Terastallize and use a boosted Body Press to deal massive damage.

Start the raid with your chosen Screen move to raise the party's overall bulk. Follow it up with Iron Defense to raise Zamazenta's Defense stat by up to six stages, then attack with Body Press. The move's damage output will be improved due to Zamazenta's Defense boosts, which is the main strategy behind this build.

Terastallize when you can to power up Body Press even further. If the enemy sets up their own screen, you can use Brick Break to help out.
