Shell Bell |
The best ability for Sneasler in Tera Raid Battles is Poison Touch. This allows Sneasler to inflict Poison against the Raid Pokemon just by making contact.
We also recommend getting a Sneasler with a Poison Tera type to boost the power of Dire Claw. As a Physical Attacker, Adamant nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards Bulky Offense. Max out your HP and Atk EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Def. Give it a Shell Bell to allow Sneasler to recover HP after dealing damage.
Sneasler Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~3 | Use Swords Dance three times to maximize Sneasler's Attack stat. |
Turns 4~6 | Use Screech to lower the Raid Pokemon's Defense. |
Turns 7~9 | Use Dire Claw to deal massive damage, gain tera orb charge, and inflict a status effect. |
Turns 10+ | Terastallize and use Gunk Shot or Dire Claw to deal massive damage and clear the raid. |
Start the Tera Raid battle by using Swords Dance first to maximize your Attack, then use Screech to lower the raid Pokemon's Defense.
After setting up, use Dire Claw to deal damage, build Tera Orb charge, and gain a chance to inflict a status effect against the Raid Pokemon.
Once you have enough Tera Orb charge, Terastallize and use either Gunk Shot to deal massive damage, or repeatedly use Dire Claw until you clear the raid.

This Sneasler Tera Raid Build is an effective counter to Grass, and Fairy Type Tera Raid Bosses. If the Tera Raid Boss is usually a Ground, or Psychic Type outside of Terastallization, perhaps consider a different build, as Sneasler will be weak to these Types as a Poison-Type attacker.
