One Shot Kingambit with Fighting Type Moves

Take out Kingambit in one shot by exploiting its 4x weakness to Fighting. It is crucial that you use a Pokemon like Gallade with a high speed stat, as Kingambit's Supreme Overlord Ability raises its Attack by one stage for each Pokemon that was defeated before it. This leaves Kingambit in a very strong position starting the battle, so make sure you deal with it swiftly.

Watch Out For Mela's Type Coverage

When using mono-Water or Ground Type Pokemon to counter Mela's Fire Types, keep in mind that Mela's Armarouge and Houndoom know the moves Energy Ball and Thunder Fang, respectively. Both of these moves deal super effective damage to Water, while Energy Ball is a counter to both Water and Ground Types.

Protect Your Pokemon From Poison Status With Steel and Poison Type Pokemon

Many of Atticus' Pokemon have moves with either a chance or guarantee to leave the target poisoned. To counter this bring Steel Type Pokemon, which are completely immune to Poison Type attacks. Just be careful of Skuntank and Revavroom, as they both have access to powerful Fire Type moves that are super effective against Steel Types.

You Can Also Do the Team Star Grunt Let's Go Auto Battle Challenge

Team Star Grunt Auto Battle LP Challenge Pokemon SV
By pressing the buzzer at the entrance to the Team Star Base, you can do the Team Star Grunt Let's Go Auto Battle Challenge. The Pokemon will all be of a higher level and there will be different Pokemon to the initial challenge, as well as evolved forms. In addition, instead of 30 Pokemon you now must defeat 50 Pokemon. When you clear the challenge, the Team Star Boss will reward you with LP. Unlike the Boss rematch, there is no limit on the amount of times you can take on the Grunt challenge within a day, so it is a great way to earn LP.
