This set aims to come in mid-game, after a teammate has been knocked out and take out a threat to your team. Not many Pokemon will want to take a Choice Specs-boosted Overheat at -1 Special Defense, and few Pokemon can switch into it.

Keep in mind that Chi-Yu is currently not available to use in Ranked Battle but is still a great choice for unrestricted play.

Unlike other Choice Scarf users, it can also shut down physical attackers with Will-O-Wisp and will usually move faster due to its held item.

Torkoal is possibly Scarlet and Violet's premier Trick Room Sweeper, who truly shines when it is allowed to burn through entire teams with Eruption. It also likes Support from Chlorophyll Pokemon like Lilligant.

Torkoal is an Offensive powerhouse once it gets going, and it is difficult to stop once in Trick Room.

This moveset capitalizes on Skeledirge's high Special Attack. With a Modest Nature and a pair of Wise Glasses, moves like Torch Song and Hex will give enemies a rough time in battle.

Spamming Torch Song will further raise Skeledirge's Sp. Atk, eventually ensuring one-hit KOs against most Pokemon in an opponent's party. Also, remember to use Will-O-Wisp on your opponent before using Hex.

Except for Torch Song, keep in mind that you'll have to change most, if not all of Skeledirge's other moves if you want to give it a competitive build.

Arboliva's high Special Attack and respectable natural bulk, particularly its Special Defense, make it an effective Growth setup sweeper for dedicated sun teams. During the effects of Sunny Day, Growth boosts Arboliva's Attack and Special Attack by two stages.

Tera Blast becomes a Base 80 Fire-type move when Arboliva terasstalizes into a Fire-type, and gives it a great STAB move that gets boosted under harsh sunlight. Similarly, Solar Beam is a strong spammable under sun as the weather removes its two-turn charge.

Hyper Voice is its last STAB move and while it doesn't hit anything for super effective damage, it's a strong neutral Special move that allows Arboliva to hit bulky Dragon-types such as Altaria.

Best Tera Type for Fire-type Pokemon

Fire Tera Type

Letting Fire-type Pokemon have a Fire Tera Type gives them stronger STAB with its Fire-type moves when Terastallized.

Additionally, some dual-typed Fire-type Pokemon benefit from reverting to a mono Fire-type. A good example is Armarouge*, who loses its weakness to Dark and Ghost-type moves.

Water Tera Type

Water is a great defensive Tera type for Fire-types as it allows them to stay on the field against Rock and Ground-types. Offensively, Fire and Water also has great type synergy and coverage that is almost unresisted in the current metagame.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Water with Water Tera Shards.

Grass Tera Type

SV - Breloom -Grass Tera Type.png

Grass is a great offensive tera type to terastallize to as it gives Fire-types a way to take on Water and Ground-types, while also giving it a defensive typing against these types.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Grass with Grass Tera Shards.
