Transfer save data from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) to another Switch by using the device's Manage Software feature. Read on to learn the steps on how to transfer save data and save files between Nintendo Switch devices.

 Only 1 Save File is allowed per Switch profile. An Internet Connection is required to transfer Save Data. It is required for the users sending and receiving the data on both consoles to be linked to the same Nintendo Account.Save Data Cloud backup is not supported. |
| 1 |  On both consoles, close the game and go to the Home Menu. |

| 2 |  Hover over your Pokemon game's icon and tap the + button on your Joy-Con. From the game's Options Menu, go to the Manage Software tab. |
| 3 |  Under the Manage Software tab, select Transfer Your Save Data. |
| 4 |  On the Switch that has the Save Data you want to transfer, select Send Save Data to Another Console. |
| 5 |  On the Switch that will receive the Save Data, select Receive Save Data. |
| 6 |  On the Switch that has the Save Data you want to transfer, select the user which has the Save File which you want to transfer to the other console. |
| 7 |  Still on the Switch that has the Save Data you want to transfer, select the Pokemon Save Data which you want to send over to the other console. Confirm Send Save Data to initiate the transfer to the other console. |
| 8 | Select Receive Save Data on the receiver Switch. If you already have a Save File in place, the system will warn you that transferring the data will overwrite the save data currently on the receiver Switch, and that the save on the receiver console cannot be recovered. Select OK, and the transfer will be complete. |
Like in previous Pokemon games, it is very unlikely that you can transfer save data to another user.
While it's possible between two consoles, the user you're sending the save data to should be linked to the same Nintendo account as the one you're using on the first console.
If you have two user profiles with two different Nintendo Switch accounts, you can't transfer save data between the two.
