Rain Dish and Shell Bell lets it heal off a good chunk of damage. Access to Shell Smash making it a decent Mixed Attacker. Works well with Water Raid Teams thanks to its amazing sustain.

With a fairly decent balance in attacking and defensive stats, Blastoise is flexible enough to be built either Physical or Special. This Blastoise capitalizes on the move Weather Ball to make it a super powerful Special Attacker thanks to its 100 base power under rain.

You can also use Scald for this build with Weather Ball being used for a bit more damage while Scald is more useful for Physical Attackers to cut their damage.

We also recommend getting a Blastoise with a Water Tera Type to boost the power of Scald or Weather Ball . As a Special Attacker, Modest nature would be best.

You can catch a Squirtle with a Water Tera Type at the Canyon Biome.

In order to get Squirtle in the Terarium, you need to complete Terry's Boost biodiversity in the Canyon Biome request on the Support Board for 3000 BP

Make sure to bring a Pokemon that has False Swipe and can inflict a status effect to make it easier to catch.

Give Blastoise Life Dew from Chansey as an Egg Move

1	Catch a Chansey, then make them remember the move Life Dew.
2	Buy a Mirror Herb at Delibird Presents in Cascarrafa. The item costs ₽30,000 so make sure you have enough money.
3	Remove everyone from your party except for Chansey and Blastoise. There should only be two Pokemon in your party.
4	Delete one of Blastoise's move, then let it hold the Mirror Herb.
5	Have a picnic with Chansey and Blastoise. Wait for a few minutes, then pack up. Check Blastoise's summary to see that it now has Life Dew!
