The best ability for Sylveon in Tera Raid Battles is Pixilate. This ability not only increases the damage of Normal-type Moves but also turns them into Fairy-type moves! This makes it especially powerful to have in Raids against Dragon-Types.

We also recommend getting a Sylveon with a Fairy Tera Type because of its immunity to Dragon and the boost it gives to its Fairy-type STAB. As a Special Attacker, a Modest nature would be best.

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards a good offense through Special Attacks and survivability with HP to help you take down enemies quickly. Max out your HP and Sp. Attack EVs, while giving a boost to your Sp. Defense. The Metronome allows it to hit harder too by boosting moves used consecutively.

Start a Tera Raid Battle with Fake Tears to lower your opponent's Special Defense by two stages or Misty Terrain to prep the field for battle, before hitting hard with Hyper Voice. If you're going against an enemy that is weak to Ghost-type moves, Shadow Ball is another great attack you can use!

You can catch a Sylveon just outside the Fairy-type Team Star Base in North Province (Area Three). This Sylveon will be around Lv. 50 , have the Fairy Tera Type, and will already know Yawn and Moonblast, the two main moves you'll want.

Make sure to bring a Pokemon that has False Swipe and can inflict a status effect to make it easier to catch.
