League Points (LP) are used to craft Technical Machines or TMs that give your Pokemon powerful moves in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)! Read on to learn what League Points are, and how to farm them as fast as possible.
List of Contents

To farm League Points as fast as possible, you'll need to clear quests from the main storyline. So far, our team has found that the Starfall Street storyline gives thousands of LP after beating Team Star bosses, so it's a good idea to clear that storyline first if you want lots of LP to make Technical Machines or TMs.
| Team Star Boss | Reward After Beating Them |
|---|---|
| Mela | ▪ TM038 Flame Charge ▪ Star Badge ▪ LP points given currently unknown |
| Atticus | ▪ TM102 Gunk Shot ▪ 6,000 LP |
| Glacomo | ▪ TM062 Dark Play ▪ 7,000 LP |
Cassiopeia is a self-proclaimed hacker that feeds you all sorts of information you'll need to clear the main storylines. This includes the locations of Star Crews, as well as the locations of Paldea's eight Gym Leaders.
But most importantly, Cassiopeia will give you League Points after you complete quests. So make sure to keep completing quests to earn lots of LP!

Another way to earn LP outside of doing quests is to trade in materials for League Points at TM Machines. These machines are located at Pokemon Centers across the Paldea Region, and they also allow you to craft Technical Machines or TMs.
You'll gather materials as you battle and catch wild Pokemon during your journey across Paldea. So if you want to earn lots of LP, gather lots of materials and trade them in!

League Points are used in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to make Technical Machines or TMs at TM Machines at Pokemon Centers across Paldea. Giving TMs to Pokemon is a great way to give them moves that they wouldn't normally learn from leveling up.
To make a Technical Machine, you'll need a set amount of LP, as well as a few materials gathered from wild Pokemon. The variety of TMs you can make will expand as you pick up new TMs, or receive them from other people during your adventure.

Every TM has its own set price for League Points, as well as its own requirements for materials. We have a guide on the League Point prices and material requirements needed for every TM we know about so far, so check it out!
