Summary

Pokeball Icon Use Metal Sound to lower the Raid Boss' Special Defense.

Pokeball Icon Boost Iron Crown's damage output and special defense with Calm Mind and Quark Drive.

Pokeball Icon Use Tachyon Cutter with its 100 BP to deal damage to Raid Boss.

Quark Drive, Iron Crown's ability, allows it to boost its stats when Electric Terrain is on field.

Its damage output and defenses can further be boosted with Calm Mind. Pair this with Metal Sound to lower the Raid Boss' Special Defense and you'll have a hard hitting Steel Tera Type when it uses Tachyon Cutter.

Make it hold a Shell Bell so it can heal when it attacks.

Best Tera Type, Nature, and Held Item

The Best Tera Type for Iron Crown is the Steel Tera Type. This increases the damage it can deal against Steel Weak raid bosses.

As a special attacker, a Modest nature would be best for Iron Crown. If your Iron Crown happens to have a different nature, you can use a Modest Mint to change its nature to Modest.

Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards a Special Defensive Special Attacker. Max out your Sp. Atk and Sp. Def. EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into HP.

Tera Raid Strategy

Iron Crown Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1~3 Use Calm Mind to boost your Special Attack and Special Defense.
Turns 3~5 Use Metal Sound to lower Iron Bundle's Special Defense.
Turns 6~9 Use Tachyon Cutter to build Tera Orb charge, terastallizing when possible.
Turns 10 Use Electric Terrain to further boost your Sp. Atk.
Turns 11+ Terastallize and keep using Tachyon Cutter until you beat the raid boss. Feel free to set up any buffs or Debuffs you may have lost.

Start the raid battle by using Calm Mind three times to boost Iron Crown's Sp. Atk and Sp. Def.

Afterwards, use Metal Sound three times to lower the Raid Boss' Sp. Def by 6 stages, making it more vulnerable to your attacks.

Now that you're done setting up everything, it's time to dish out attacks. Use Tachyon Cutter to deal damage and build Tera Orb Charge. Thanks to your Shell Bell, you'll be able to recover some of your HP when you attack as well!

Once you have enough Tera Orb charge, terastallize and continue using Tachyon Cutter until the Raid Boss goes down.

Its damage output and defenses can further be boosted with Calm Mind. Pair this with Metal Sound to lower the Raid Boss' Special Defense and you'll have a hard hitting Psychic Tera Type when it uses Stored Power.
