7-Star Raids Now Drop Herba Mystica!
Starting in 2024, all 7-Star Raids have a chance to drop all types of Herba Mystica! So even if you have caught the Raid Boss, you can still reap more Herba Mystica rewards by joining or hosting event Raids!
Other event Raids, like the Paradox Pokemon ones, can also drop Herba Mystica but is only limited to a certain type.
Obtain as Reward from 5-Star Raids
You can obtain all five Herba Mysticas from 5-Star Tera Raids. These ingredients have a 10% chance to drop after clearing these raids.
5-Star Raids have a lower chance of dropping Herba Mysticas than the 13% drop rate from 6-Star Raids, but will offer a faster method as 5-Star Raids appear more frequently, can be taken on alone with a Pokemon bult for Tera Raids, and are generally easier to clear than the more challenging raids in 6-Star Raids.
5-Star Raids are unlocked and will appear around Paldea after finishing the game.

Save and Reload for Solo Tera Raids

It is possible to solo 5-Star Raids as long as you bring a Pokemon built for Tera Raids and can withstand the raid boss that you will face. With this, you can keep clearing and reloading the Tera Raid if you do not get the Herba Mystica drop.
How to Beat 5-Star and 6-Star Tera Raids
You Can Also Get Herba Mystica From 6-Star Raids
Herba Mystica also drop from 6-Star Tera Raids. The drop rates for Herba Mystica in these raids are slightly higher than 5-Star Raids, although the raids pose more challenge since raid bosses are tougher to beat. If you want to take on 6-Star Raids, it is highly-advised to start the battle with other players.

Raid Power: Level 2 Gives Additional Herba Mystica!

Raid Power Sandwiches of the same type as the Tera Raid Boss can give any additional regular item drops for that Pokemon including rare items such as Herba Mystica, Bottle Caps and Ability Capsules. If you are trying to farm Herba Mystica from a 5 or 6 Star raid, and you find one of the Raid Bosses that can drop multiple Herba Mystica, we recommend you use Raid Power Level 2! This will give you 2 additional chances at bonus Herba Mystica, without having to use Herba Mystica of your own.

If you have the Teal Mask DLC, you can receive a set of Herba Mystica containing two of each type as a reward for clearing the Chair Maker's side quest in Kitakami. Give him all of the possible chair designs to receive your reward.

What are Herba Mystica?
Used to Create Sandwiches With Lv. 3 Meal Powers
Using a correct recipe with Herba Mystica will activate the Lv3 Meal Powers of that Sandwich. These ingredients are very rare, but they are great to have for important situations such as participating in 6-Star Raids or catching Legendary Pokemon.
Used to Make Shiny Hunting Sandwiches
If you add in any two of the Herba Mystica types and another ingredient to make a Sandwich, Sparkling Power Lv. 3 and Title Power Lv. 3 will be activated and will result in a Shiny Hunting Sandwich! These Sandwiches are some of the must have items when Shiny Hunting.
Unlocks New Sandwich Recipes
After reaching the Post Game and obtaining Herba Mystica, you can unlock new recipes by talking to the NPC in any Sandwich Shop.

Different From the Path of Legends Item
The Path of Legends questline, which is about finding Herba Mystica guarded by Titan Pokemon, won't actually get you Herba Mystica that you can use. You won't find these ingredients even if you go back to the spot where the Herba Mystica are during the cutscenes.
Obtained From 5-Star or 6-Star Tera Raid Battles
Herba Mystica are mainly obtained from completing 5-Star or 6-Star Tera Raid Battles, which are only unlocked in the Post Game.
6-Star Raids have a higher chance to drop Herba Mystica than 5-Star Raids, but they are never guaranteed. Invite other trainers in a Raid so you can get these rare ingredients faster!
