Marks and Titles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) are special titles that a Pokemon can have when it's caught or when it was able to satisfy a few conditions. Learn more about marks and titles, as well as how to get them!
List of Contents
You can get a new title every time your Pokemon gets a ribbon. So if you want your Pokemon to have multiple marks and titles, try to earn lots of ribbons for it.
Some of the ways to obtain ribbons is by entering the Hall of Fame, increasing your Pokemon's Friendship to the highest level, or training your Pokemon to have the highest Effort Values.
Take a look at our article below to find out how to get specific ribbons such as the Paldea Champion Ribbon.
List of Ribbons and How to Get All Ribbons
Marks and titles can also be earned randomly by catching wild Pokemon. A wild Pokemon caught under certain weather conditions or certain times of day can also bear a mark and a title! You might even get a mark and title while having a picnic with your Pokemon!
Increase your chances of finding a Pokemon with a mark by eating sandwiches with a Title Power. You can increase its power further by using Herba Mystica - an ingredient you can obtain from 6-Star Tera Raids.
The following marks are the ones we have found in the game so far. Let us know in the comments if you found a mark that isn't listed here!

Marks and titles are special titles and markings your Pokemon can have when it's caught or when it satisfies a certain condition.
These special titles appear along with the name of your Pokemon when you send it out to battle. If you want to see if your Pokemon has a mark or a title, you can check out its summary via the menu.
Your Pokemon's title will also appear during raid battles once you send it out again after it fainted!
The marks and titles your Pokemon has doesn't go away once they have it. A Pokemon can have different marks and titles but you can only use one of them at a time.
I have a makuhita that has the 'slump' mark. It is 'A mark for a worn-out Pokémon' no idea about the conditions
