Unlock Requirements Unlock 6-Star Tera Raid Battles to Participate
To do this, you'll need to complete the Academy Ace Tournament, then do 8-10 4-Star or 5-Star Raids until you get a call from Jacq.

The special 7-star Tera Raid Event featuring Skeledirge with the Fire Tera Type is now over! The Raid ended on March 20, 2025 (23:59 UTC). All 3 Paldea Starter Pokemon will have back to back Tera Raid Events as announced on Pokemon Day!

Skeledirge with the Mightiest Mark, the featured Pokemon for this event, can only be caught once. However, you could still participate in this event even after you've caught Skeledirge if you want to get more of its rewards.

Just like previous 7-Star Tera Raid events, the 7-Star Skeledirge Raid Dens would only spawn in Paldea. If you haven't purchased The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, no need to worry as the Raid Den cannot appear in Kitakami or the Terarium. You also don't need to do the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue in order to start this raid.

The best counters for the Skeledirge Tera Raid are Tentacruel or Quagsire! Tentacruel can use Throat Chop and lock Skeledirge out of its key moves.

Alternatively, Quagsire also has Unaware which lets you ignore the Sp. Atk buffs Skeledirge can obtain from Torch Song.

Do make sure you have either Bellibolt or Gardevoir as allies, as solo-ing this raid is near impossible without them.

Unlock 6-Star Tera Raids to Participate

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - 7-Star Tera Raid Battle World View

Skeledirge normally cannot be found in Paldea, making the 7-Star Event Skeledirge quite the catch, but you have to fight it in a Black Crystal Tera Raid.

These raids are tough, so trainers will have to prepare in advance. It's also recommended to complete the post-game before you participate. Players who are in earlier points of the game can still join via Link Code, but it is highly discouraged since these 7-Star raids will be extremely difficult.
