Summary

Decidueye's resistance to Grass and immunity to Fighting-type moves make it a great counter for the 7-Star the opponent Raid.

Overgrow is the best Ability for this build so that Decidueye gets a 50% Attack or Special Attack boost when using a Grass-type move when it has 1/3 of its HP left.

Best Tera Type

Grass Tera Type is best for this build to give it a boost to its Giga Drain. A Modest Nature is necessary so that it can hit as hard as possible with its special moves.

EV Spread Explanation

Max out Decidueye's HP and Sp.Atk EVs while adding the remaining 4 EVs into Defense so that Decidueye can hit as hard as possible with Giga Drain.

For this build, giving it a Shell Bell allows it to recover health while dealing damage stacks with Giga Drain.

Tera Raid Strategy

Decidueye Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Nasty Plot to boost Decidueye's Special Attack.
Turns 2~4 Use Giga Drain to deal damage, heal, and build Tera Orb Charge.
Turns 5+ Terastallize into a pure Grass-type and use boosted Giga Drain to damage the opponent's shield and eventually KO it.

Start the battle by using Nasty Plot to boost Decidueye's Sp. Atk, then use Giga Drain to damage the opponent and build up Tera Orb Charge..

Once you have enough Tera Orb charge, terastallize into a pure Grass-type and use boosted Giga Drain to damage the opponent's shield and finish the battle.

Giving Decidueye Shell Bell ensures that it recovers health while dealing damage.

Note: I would not recommend using the regular Decidueye because of Hisui Decidueye's scrappy ability. Also Ogrepon doesn't work at all due to Hisui Decidueye's brave bird attack. Are there any other Pokemon that can be used for solo and not having to rely on a team?
