The best ability for Okidogi in Tera Raid Battles is Toxic Chain. This will let you poison and inflict chip damage to the Tera Raid Boss if need be. Guard Dog is a great alternative if you're facing off a Raid Boss with the ability Intimidate.

With access to both Bulk Up, Okidogi will contribute a great amount of damage on Tera Raid Bosses coupled with its naturally high Attack stat while also tanking damage with its great bulk.

This build focuses on repeated uses of Drain Punch boosted by Metronome in order to deal huge amounts of damage while healing off any damage that may come your way.

Best Tera Type

A Fighting Tera Type in conjunction with a Metronome held item, allows Okidogi to have great damage output combined with healing with consecutive Drain Punches.

As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature would work best for this Pokemon.

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards increasing the Pokemon's HP and Attack. Max out your HP, and Atk EVs, while putting the remaining points into Defense. This allows Okidogi to have decent bulk, while still having high offense.

Give Okidogi a Metronome to boost the damage output of Drain Punch by 10% each time it is used consecutively!

Tera Raid Strategy

Okidogi Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Taunt to prevent stat drops from status moves.
Turns 2-7 Use Bulk Up to boost the damage of Drain Punch.
Optional You can also use Howl if you don't need Defense, but the entire Party would prefer to get Attack buffs.
Low HP Turn Use Drain Punch to regain HP
Turns 8+ Use Drain Punch to deal large damage while also replenishing HP. Terastallize when possible.

Start out the Tera Raid Battle by using Taunt to prevent stat drops from Status Moves.

Follow with 6 Bulk Ups or Howls to raise your Attack to +6. Use Drain Punch when HP is Low to regain HP.

Proceed to attack consecutively with Drain Punch to boost it's damage each turn, while also replenishing your HP.

When you have enough Tera Orb charge to terastallize, proceed to Terastalize and start spamming Drain Punch to damage the raid Pokemon's shield and finish the battle!

Tera Raid Strategy

Okidogi Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turns 1~6 Use Bulk Up to boost the damage of your attacking moves.

Turn 7~9 Use Poison Jab to deal damage and build Tera Orb charge.
Turns 10+ Terastallize and keep using Poison Jab. You can also opt to use Gunk Shot if the opponent has low enough health.

At the start of the raid, use Bulk Up to raise Okidogi's Attack stat by a few stages. Attack with Poison Jab to deal huge damage to the opposing Pokemon. Poison Jab's chance to poison and the ability Toxic Chain also allows it to deal chip damage to the raid boss.

After setting up, use Poison Jab to deal some damage and charge your Tera Orb. Once you get enough charges, Terastallize and use a boosted Gunk Shot to deal massive amounts of damage!

EV train Okidogi according to the build's EV spread using Vitamins, Mochis, or the traditional way with Power Items and battling Pokemon with the right EV yield.

Vitamins can be bought at any Chansey Supply shop and it will cost you ₽530,000 to fully train a Pokemon. Meanwhile, Mochi can be obtained through the Ogre Oustin' Minigame.

Poison and Fighting Tera Builds

If you have the money for it, you can just buy 26 Protein (for Atk), 26 HP Up (for HP) , and 1 Iron (for Def). All of these items can be bought at a Chansey Supply shop and it will cost you ₽510,000 in total.

Alternatively, you can use Power Items that you can buy at a Delibird Presents shop for ₽10,000 each. Have your Pokemon hold the respective Power Item while defeating the Pokemon listed below.
