Focuses on speed

The recommended settings for a speedrun focuses on efficiency. Features that affect speed, such as Move Learning, Cutscenes, and Giving Nicknames will be disabled. The Autosave feature will also be turned on so you can focus on playing without worrying about losing progress!

Rearrange your moves

For faster battles, we recommend rearranging your Pokemon's moveset so that their most powerful Move is at the top of the list. This allows you to press A repeatedly to spam the topmost move and defeat your opponents quickly.
