Several Paradox Pokemon are only available in The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero), the end-game zone in Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet. In addition, this location is only accessible once you clear all three story paths.

Meanwhile, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are only obtainable after clearing their limited-time Tera Raid Event.

Brute Bonnet can be found in all zones of The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero), specifically near the second observatory and inside caves. It is the second most frequent Paradox Pokemon that you can encounter once you have completed the main story.

Sandy Shocks is an uncommon Pokemon that spawns around the cliffs and grassy areas near Research Station 2 in The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zone).

Roaring Moon

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - Roaring Moon Location Found in Area Zero Hidden Cave
Roaring Moon is a rare Paradox Pokemon and can only be found in the Hidden Cave between Research Station 2 & 3. The Hidden Cave can only be accessed after completing all story routes.

Note that if Roaring Moon disappears or does not spawn in the area, you need to defeat multiple Pokemon nearby to allow Roaring Moon to respawn inside the cave.

How to find the Hidden Cave

Teleport to Research Station 2 and continue downward towards Research Station 3. Once you cross river there will be a tree and Research Station 3 will be visible.

Check the rocks directly behind the tree to find the hidden cave where Roaring Moon can be found.

The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero) Map

Koraidon

You can find the second Koraidon at Research Station No. 4 in The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero) after completing the game.

You'll need to head to the bottommost part of Area Zero and follow the road leading to a ledge where you can find Koraidon on top of it.

How to Get the Second Koraidon

Walking Wake

You can catch Walking Wake during its own 5-Star Tera Raid Event in Pokemon Scarlet. This event where Walking Wake was made available is now over. The event ran from February 27 until March 12, 2023.

Walking Wake had a Water Tera Type during the raid and could use its signature move Hydro Steam.

Raging Bolt

To access the Raging Bolt quest and encounter, you must finish Perrin's Bloodmoon Ursaluna Quest in Kitakami and register 200 Pokemon in your Blueberry Pokedex. Perrin will then show you a picture of where Raging Bolt is located in Area Zero.

Follow these steps to find Raging Bolt in Area Zero:

  1. Teleport to Research Station 3.
  2. Step out of the Research Station, then head right until you reach a river.
  3. Follow the river upstream to find Raging Bolt just near a waterfall.

Iron Leaves

You can catch Iron Leaves during its own 5-Star Tera Raid Event in Pokemon Violet. This event where Iron Leaves was made available is now over. The event ran from February 27 until March 12, 2023.

To access the Iron Crown quest and encounter, you must finish Perrin's Bloodmoon Ursaluna Quest in Kitakami and register 200 Pokemon in your Blueberry Pokedex. Perrin will then show you a picture of where Iron Crown is located in Area Zero.

Follow these steps to find Iron Crown in Area Zero:

  1. From the main entrance of Area Zero, just before the first Research Station, follow the road downhill until you reach a relatively large open space with fences.
  2. Ignore the fences and jump down the cliff.
  3. Glide slowly and carefully, then look behind you to find an opening on the cliff's face.
  4. Iron Crown should be a level down just below the open space where you once were.

Iron Boulder

SV Indigo Disk - Iron Boulder
To access the Iron Boulder quest and encounter, you must finish Perrin's Bloodmoon Ursaluna Quest in Kitakami and register 200 Pokemon in your Blueberry Pokedex. Perrin will then show you a picture of where Iron Boulder is located in Area Zero.

Follow these steps to find Iron Boulder in Area Zero:

  1. Teleport to Research Station 2.
  2. Exit the research station.
  3. Go straight and jump down to the level beneath.
  4. Iron Boulder should be a level down just below Research Station 2.

All Paradox Pokemon are genderless and in the Undiscovered Egg Group, making it impossible to breed them.

If you want to get multiple Paradox Pokemon, wait for them to spawn in the areas in The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero) and catch one from there.
