Leaf Blade is its strongest Grass-type STAB move that also has a high chance to land a critical hit.

A full 252 EVs are placed in Virizion's Attack and Speed to make it hit as hard and fast as possible. The extra 4 EVs are put into its Defense to help round out its bulk.

A Jolly nature is preferred to help Virizion outspeed as many Pokemon as possible.

How to Use Virizion Effectively

Look for Knockouts on Weakened Opponents

Virizion unfortunately doesn't have the greatest Attack stat and it also has many weaknesses. This makes it best suited as a revenge killer who can get quick knockouts on the opponent's low-health Pokemon.

How to Build a Team with Virizion

Virizion is best used on teams that need a Choice Attacker with a strong movepool to get counter KOs.
