Shell Bell |
The best ability for Zarude in Tera Raid Battles is Leaf Guard. This allows Zarude to not worry about Status Effects while under harsh sunlight.
We also recommend getting Zarude with a Dark Tera Type to further boost the damage of Snarl and Crunch. As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature would work best for this Pokemon.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards increasing the Pokemon's HP and Atk stats. Max out these EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Sp. Def. Equip the Pokemon with a Shell Bell to give it passive healing when it uses an attacking move.
Zarude Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~3 | Use Swords Dance to give Zarude a boost to it's Attack. |
Optional | Use Snarl to lower the Raid Boss' Sp. Atk while also building Tera Orb charges. |
Turns 4+ | Terastallize and use Crunch until the Raid Boss is defeated. You can also use Snarl if it resets its stats. |
Low HP Turns | Use Jungle Healing to heal the entire raid party. |
Start the raid by immediatly using Swords Dance until Zarude gets +6 Attack. You can also use Snarl to lower the Raid Boss' Special Attack and build Tera Orb charges.
With a maxed out Attack stat, you can Terastalize and start attacking with Crunch until the Raid Boss is defeated. You can also heal the party with Jungle Healing in a pinch.

The best ability for Zarude in Tera Raid Battles is Leaf Guard. This allows Zarude to not worry about Status Effects while under harsh sunlight.
We also recommend getting a Zarude with a Grass Tera Type to further boost the damage of Seed Bomb. As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature would be best.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards bulky offense to help with survivability while still dealing as much damage as possible. Max out your HP and Atk EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Sp. Def. The Miracle Seed held item powers up Zarude's Grass-type moves.
Zarude Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1 | Use Grassy Terrain to set up terrain. |
Turns 2~4 | Use Swords Dance to raise Zarude's Attack to +6. |
Low HP Turn | Use Jungle Healing when Zarude's HP falls below 50%. |
Turns 5~7 | Use Seed Bomb to deal damage and build Tera Charge. |
Optional | Recast Grassy Terrain when it runs out. |
Turns 7+ | Terastallize once you build up enough Tera Orb Charge, and continue using Seed Bomb. |
Start the Tera Raid battle by using Grassy Terrain to set up some passive healing for the team and power-up Grass-type moves. Set up with Swords Dance a few times to boost Zarude's Attack.
Use Seed Bomb to deal super effective damage. Once you have enough Tera Orb charge, terastallize into a Grass-type and use boosted Seed Bomb to finish the raid. When you think you need to heal, Zarude has access to Jungle Healing to heal up the entire party.
