There is a rare chance to find a Shiny Ditto Block in The Indigo Disk DLC in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). Read on to learn how to find a Shiny Ditto Block, and what to do with Shiny Ditto Blocks.

During Union Circle, one of the group Blueberry Quests (BBQ's), will have you search for blocks that are actually Dittos in disguise. Typically, these are the pink blocks with Ditto's face on them.
However, there is a very rare chance that these Ditto Blocks can be shiny! The Youtuber JFlash727 has shared an instance of him encountering a Shiny Ditto Block as seen in the above video.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to catch the Shiny Ditto once it has transformed into its original (shiny) form. You have no option to battle the Ditto upon doing so.
Are Indigo Disk Legendary Pokemon Shiny Locked?
One multiplayer Blueberry Quest that you can complete is finding a certain number of Ditto Blocks at a certain Biome. Examining a Shiny Ditto Block counts as completing this objective, allowing you to earn a lot of BP in the process.
Completing the Ditto Block BBQ is one of the best ways to farm BP. Head over to our BBQ Union Circle Board to form a group of 4 players to complete these quests together!
