Upgrade the Item Printer for the second time to unlock the Poke Ball Lotto in the Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Read on to learn how to activate the Poke Ball Lotto and what Poke Balls you can obtain from this function.

You can unlock the Poke Ball Lotto function when you upgrade the Item Printer for the second time at the cost of 500 BP. You need to get the first upgrade tier for 200 BP before you can access this upgrade.
The Item Printer was found to generate items the second you press the "I want to print something" text. This can then be exploited by changing your Nintendo Switch's internal time and obtain prints that are consistent and can be replicated by anyone.
How to Do the Indigo Disk Item Printer RNG Exploit
There is a 1% chance of activating Poke Ball Lotto when using the Item Printer. When this happens, the Item Printer will dispense a number of multiple Poke Ball types instead of the usual item drops that the Item Printer gives out.
Unfortunately, even if you upgrade the Item Printer to its final form, there are no mention of increased chances of triggering the Poke Ball Lotto.
When the Poke Ball Lotto activates, there is a high chance of receiving multiple rare Poke Balls such as Apriballs and Master Balls.

If you want to try your luck to get a Poke Ball Lotto, you'll need a lot of Pokemon Materials to use the Item Printer.
You can try farming Sableye in a cave in East Province Area Three to get Sableye Gems which have a high conversion rate for the Item Printer.
