Blissey is a tanky raid Pokemon which can be countered by physical attackers like Iron Hands who can deal massive damage. Attackers can be supported by Pokemon built for utility, like Ceruledge, who can prevent Blissey from using status moves, lower its Defense, and boost the firepower of attackers.

Magikarp |
Ditto is a raid Pokemon that copies the host's Pokemon by using Transform. If the raid host uses a Ditto as well, the raid Ditto will try to use Transform on it every turn, which will always fail. This makes the raid much easier for your teammates, since the raid Ditto won't be able to deal any damage against them.
Attackers like Iron Hands and Azumarill should be used by your teammates, since these Pokemon can easily knock out the Ditto in one attack.
Magikarp is the best solo counter for Ditto, since the raid Ditto will be forced to copy Magikarp's low stats and only be able to use Splash. This allows the NPC allies to take out the raid Pokemon with relative ease.

Dragonite is a bulky raid Pokemon that can dish out huge damage while it can tank multiple attacks. Dragonite can be countered by Fairy-Type Pokemon like Azumarill and Flutter Mane due to their immunity to Dragonite's devastating Dragon-Type moves.
Be sure to bring a utility Pokemon like Umbreon to debilitate Dragonite in order for your lead Pokemon to deal massive amounts of damage to Dragonite.

Corviknight is a bulky raid Pokemon thats can easily overwhelm your party if you are not prepared for its set-up moves. Due to its type and defensive bulk, it's recommended to bring Special Attackers that can dish out damage.
Due to its ability Mirror Armor, it's not recommended to bring utility Pokemon and it is much preferred to go all-out offense on Corviknight.

Clodsire will use Yawn to put your Pokemon to Sleep. Closire can then pummel the party with its powerful STAB Earthquakes and Poison Jabs. Corviknight with its access to Sleep Talk and the perfect typing, Clodsire will be left helpless against Corviknight, with Yawn no longer being much of a nuisance.
Annihilape is the best attacker against Clodsire, with its natural bulk and resistance to 3 of Clodsire's moves, taking half damage from Poison, a quarter damage from Bug, and immunity to Yawn from Vital Spirit.

5-Star Indeedee Tera Raid Guide: Best Counters and Strategy
You can easily beat Tera Raids if you take advantage of the raid Pokemon's Tera Type while being wary of potential risks that you may face when battling them during the raid.

Best Counters For Raids Per Tera Type
The most important aspect of multiplayer raids is coordination. If everyone in your team is following the same plan, you have a higher chance to defeat the raid Pokemon.
You may have better results if you can directly communicate with your allies compared to playing with random players online.
Below is an example of a popular co-ordinated Tera Raid strategy.
Player 1 | Player 2 | Player 3 | Player 4 |
---|---|---|---|
Perrserker |
Perrserker |
Perrserker |
Perrserker |
Perrserker's Ability Steely Spirit increases the damage of Steel-type moves by 50%. With 4 of them, it brings the total to a 200% increase to the damage of Steel Type moves.
Perrserker also has access to the move Screech, which lowers the target's Defense by two stages, which allows your team to bring the Raid Pokemon's Defense to -6 in just one turn. From there, the Perrserkers just use STAB Steel-type moves, and re-apply the Screech debuff again if necessary.
Tera Raids warrant your Pokemon to be bulky and able to survive their attacks, whether your are playing the role of an attacker or a support.
Most Pokemon used in Tera Raids are HP EV trained to make them as tanky as possible so they can stay in the raid longer. The other EVs are spread in either offensive or defensive stats, depending on the role the Pokemon is playing.
Raid Pokemon will put up an energy shield once their health drops or the raid time limit is at 50%. Once this shield is present, every attack will be less effective and the raid Pokemon will receive less damage until it is removed.
You can avoid this being a hindrance if you coordinate your turns with your teammates. If you are not the main attacker of your team, be mindful of your moves and the damage you deal so you can prevent dropping the raid Pokemon's health to half while your other allies' are still setting up their own Pokemon.
How to Beat 5-Star and 6-Star Tera Raids
It is possible to take on Tera Raids alone if you can send out the right Pokemon and use the right moves against the raid bosses. It is recommended to use bulky Pokemon that can raise its own stats before attacking. It is also best to lower the raid Pokemon's Defense or Special Defense so you can attack effectively. Below is an example of a popular solo strategy.
Pokemon | Moves |
---|---|
Iron Hands |
・ Belly Drum ・ Drain Punch ・ Thunder Punch ・ Close Combat |
Iron Hands Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1 | Use Belly Drum to raise Iron Hands' Attack stat by 6 stages. |
Turns 2~4 | Use Drain Punch to recover your missing HP. Use Thunder Punch when applicable. |
Turns 5+ | Terastallize and use Close Combat. Note that Close Combat will lower Iron Hands' Defense and Sp. Def by one stage, though. Recover your HP with Drain Punch as needed. |
To gain access to 5-Star Raids, you need to finish the game's three storylines (Victory Road, Starfall Street, and Path of Legends), as well as the The Way Home storyline.
How to Unlock 5-Star Raids and List of Pokemon
6-Star Raids are not available until you complete the main story and participate in the Academy Ace Tournament for the first time. You also need to do eight to ten 4 or 5-star raids.
Once you finish these, Jacq will call you and explain that tougher raids will be available.
