Floragato is the perfect counter to Kofu's Pokemon, having access to strong Grass and Dark type moves. You can use Bite on Veluza for the flinch chance, just be careful of its Pluck, since it's also Super Effective against Floragato.

Kofu's Pokemon all have moves that are Super Effective against Crocalor, so have Pawmot lead, and keep Crocalor benched for this fight. Terastallize at the start of the fight using Pawmot to remove your weakness to Psychic and Flying moves! You can use Crocalor's Lick or Snarl against Veluza if really necessary, just watch out for its Water type moves.

Quaxwell has no moves that are Super Effective against Kofu's Pokemon at this point, so it's better to let Pawmot or Breloom take the Lead.

How to Beat Kofu

First You Must Pass the Seaweed Bidding Auction

Seaweed Bidding Auction - Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)
Before you have the chance to face Kofu, you must first pass the Seaweed Bidding Auction. In this test, you need to outbid the other customers for the special ingredient. Remember to be conservative with your bids, to get the seaweed for as low as possible! Once you successfully clear the test you may challenge Kofu.

Level Up to Lv. 30

Since Kofu's Pokemon are in their final evolved forms, the best odds at defeating Gym Leader Kofu is to raise your Pokemon to Lv. 30 or higher, evolving those you can in the process. Do this especially for Pokemon that are weak against Water types.

Terastallize at the Start of Battle

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Alternate Fuecoco Form
Players can Terastallize their Pokemon at the very start of Gym Battes. We recommend you take advantage of Electric or Grass Tera Types, as it raises your chances of defeating most Pokemon in one hit using a move the type it is weak against.

Tips and Strategy to Beat Kofu's Rematch Team

Pelipper
Pelipper's Drizzle Ability sets the weather to Rain and strengthens Water Type moves by 50%. To counter this, bring along Pokemon with resistance to Water and high Special Defense. One benefit to having Rain weather, is it increases the accuracy of Mow Rotom's Thunder attack from 70% to 100%.
