Wo-Chien Catching Tips

Catching Tips

Form a Dark and Grass Resistant Team

At level 60, Wo-Chien dishes out powerful Dark and Grass moves, so best keep in mind to bring those who can resist them. Fire-type is great against Grass-type Pokemon, but be careful in using them if you want to catch Wo-Chien. Leave out your Water, Grass, Electric, Ground and Ghost pokemons as they'll be weak against Wo-Chien's moves.

Use False Swipe to Prevent it from Fainting

Move Type Effect
False Swipe Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Normal Type Moves Leaves the target with at least 1 HP.

False Swipe leaves the opposing Pokemon with exactly 1 HP, ensuring that the Pokemon you're aiming to catch won't faint.
