You can finally get Meloetta during normal gameplay in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet after 13 years since the last time you can get Meloetta this way was back in Pokemon Black and White which was released back in 2010.
You can get hints about Meloetta by speaking to the NPC that's standing at the corner of Classroom 3-2.
How to Get Meloetta in the Indigo Disk
There is a portrait in the Dark Theme of the League Club room that features a girl holding a Banette and the girl blinks rather quickly. Talk about creepy!
The area east of Canyon Plaza has an almost identical layout to that of the Nature Preserve map in Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 (B2W2).
What's more interesting is that back in B2W2, you can encounter a shiny Haxorus by visiting it the first time. Here in The Indigo Disk, a Stellar Tera Type Haxorus can be seen roaming the area.

The color of the orb in the Terarium changes it's color depending on your progress. If you've finished the Teal Mask's story, the orb is green, while it becomes a mix of colors after finishing The Indigo Disk.
The Indigo Disk DLC Story Walkthrough
Clay is Gym Leader from Pokemon Black and White versions that specializes in Ground-type Pokemon while Lacey, however, specializes in Fairy-types. Some might think that they're totally unrelated, but here are the signs that they are father and daughter:
Both of their Ace Pokemon is an Excadrill. They both have thick eyebrows. The green gem on Clay's cowboy hat is identical to the gems in Lacey's hairpin. Lacey and Clay's Japanese names are related to a type of root crop.

The comments of your character when interacting with the purple figurine in Kitakami's shop in their Community Center changes depending on whether you've finished the Indigo Disk story or not. It is speculated that it's foreshadowing a DLC Part 3!

The Ditto Blocks, which you'll be looking out for during Union Circle missions, is typically purple in color to match Ditto's color. Though, there is a chance to find a Shiny Ditto Block that's blue in color, matching the color of a shiny Ditto!
After so many years, Blastoise now fires water from its cannons when using the move, Hydro Pump!
If you go to the Crystal Pool in Kitakami after catching Terapagos, a secret cutscene will play that features Professor Sada or Professor Turo depending on your game's version.

Beware! You can accidentally defeat a shiny Pokemon while you're in sync with your Pokemon using the Synchro Machine! While the battles while synced is much like the auto-battles, the latter has a mechanic that prevents fainting shinies in the overworld.
Synchro Machine: Synchronize to Play as Your Pokemon!
Crispin's Arena in the Savanna Biome looks like a frying pan! This is supported by the Fire Tera Shards at the bottom of the arena, resembling the fire from a stove heating up the frying pan!
