Titan Bombirdier Location and How to Find

How to get to Bombirdier

Bombirdier Titan Location

Bombirdier, The Open Sky Titan, can be found West Province (Area One). You can reach it by exiting Mesagoza via the west gate, then proceed west through Cortondo, following the road heading to Bombirdier's lair. Watch out for the large rocks rolling around that will result in you being sent back to your initial location if hit by them. Ride Koraidon/Miraidon when crossing this area to move forward even if you get hit!

Level up your Pokemon to 19

By levelling your Pokemon to level 19, you can easily defeat Bombirdier even without using Super Effective moves. Since you only have to battle Bombirdier twice, even if the level of your other Pokemon are lower, you can easily win if you have 1 Pokemon with a type advantage.

Catch and level up Rock and Electric Pokemon

Since Bombirdier is a Flying type, you can easily reduce its HP by attacking it using Rock or Electric type moves.

Attack with Rock and Electric moves

Bombirdier is relatively easy since it is an early-game titan. Use Rock and Electric moves to lower its HP quickly. Similar to the other Titans, It will run away once its HP drops to about 20%, where it will eat the Herba Mystica and prepare for the Second Phase of the battle.

Avoid using Fire, Flying, or Grass type Pokemon

Bombirdier is a Flying type, so do not challenge it using grass types, since it will put you at a significant disadvantage. Additionally, Bombirdier has access to the move Rock Throw, so avoid using Fire and Flying types that take double damage from Rock Throw.

Can you catch the Open Sky Titan?

How to Catch Open Sky Titan: Bombirdier

During the initial battle, the only option is to defeat Bombirdier. However, after defeating it, it will be back in its regular non Titan size the next time you return to the area. You are then able to catch it. As Bombirdier is a Flying type, be sure to bring along a Pokemon that can resist its attacks such as Klawf. Make sure to stock up on Pokeballs, with Great Ball and Ultra Ball being the common options, but under certain conditions, special Pokeballs such as Dusk Balls, Timer Balls, and Repeat Balls can be more effective.

Inflict Status Effects

Use Electric Pokemon with Thunder Wave to inflict Paralysis, and significantly increase your chances of catching Bombirdier. Using Grass Pokemon to use moves such as Stun Spore or Sleep Powder may be considered as a last resort, since Bombirdier's Flying type moves are Super Effective against Grass types!

Use False Swipe

If you have access to a Pokemon that knows the move False Swipe, using the move when Bombirdier is low on HP can ensure that it will not faint, as False Swipe always leaves the target with at least 1 HP.

Exclusive Titan Mark and Title

Pokemon that were previously Titan Pokemon will also have a special Mark, along with the Title: Former Titan which is presented as in game battle text denoting that they were previously Titan Pokemon. If you do capture them or accidentally defeat them a second time, the Titan Pokemon will no longer appear in the area however, so choose wisely.
List of Marks and How to Get All Marks

Caught Titans Have the Jumbo Mark

The Titan Bombirdier is the Largest Bombirdier that exists in the game. Showing it to the person who gives you the Size-Dex gives your Bombirdier a Jumbo Mark, and the Title: The Great to denote that it is the largest amongst its species!
