A new design choice that the team behind Diablo 4 opted for is a movement to an Open World system. You can, of course, follow the main storyline but if you do so desire, you can instead, explore the map and discover new materials, dungeons, and even find new players and engage in more social aspects of the game such as PvP and trading items!

Strengthen your character by slotting in stronger items with unique affixes in the form of legendary gears! The game takes a unique approach to legendaries, allowing you to enchant aspects onto your equipment (including non-legendaries) for greater customization options in your builds!
