This build seeks to synergize Mimikyu with Armarouge, Florges, and Oranguru. The strategy revolves around giving Armarouge several stat boosts and let it deal massive damage with Stored Power after the setup.
Mimikyu's role in this strategy is to start a chain of stat boosts by using Fling, while holding a Petaya Berry, on Armarouge. Fling is a physical move, which will activate Armarouge's Weak Armor Ability and in turn give it stat boosts. It will also be forced to consume Mimikyu's Petaya Berry and its Weakness Policy, which will raise its Special Attack.
Max out Mimikyu's HP and Defense EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Special Defense. Remember to let it hold Petaya Berry, which will be given to Armarouge via Fling.
Tera Raid One-Shot Strategy | |
---|---|
#1 | Oranguru attacks Armarouge with Foul Play, activating Weak Armor and its Weakness Policy. |
#2 | Florges' Symbiosis will activate, and transfer a second Weakness Policy to Armarouge. Have Florges use Helping Hand on Armarouge. |
#3 | Mimikyu uses Fling to force Armarouge to consume a Petaya Berry, use its second Weakness Policy, and activate Weak Armor again. |
#4 | Oranguru's Symbiosis will activate and give Armarouge Choice Specs. |
#5 | Have Armarouge use Stored Power to one-shot the Raid boss. |
As the Mimikyu user, you need to wait for Armarouge to hold a second Weakness Policy from Florges. Once it receives a second item, use Fling towards Armarouge to force it to consume its second Weakness Exploit, Mimikyu's Petaya Berry, and activate Weak Armor.

Shell Bell |
The best ability for Mimikyu in Tera Raid Battles is Disguise as it allows it to take one move during the raid with minimal damage, thereby securing the use of Swords Dance at least once to boost its Attack.
We also recommend getting a Mimikyu with a Fairy Tera Type because of its immunity to Dragon and the boost it gives to its Fairy-type STAB. As a physical attacker, an Adamant nature would be best.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards making it a bulky physical attacker so it can withstand hits for longer while dealing damage. Max out your HP and Attack EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Letting Mimikyu hold a Shell Bell will allow it to stay in battle a little longer as it can heal a little HP per turn.
At the start of the raid, let Mimikyu get its Attack stat boost with Swords Dance, then follow it up with Play Rough which will act as its main weapon. Shadow Claw can be used as coverage against fellow Ghost-types, while Misty Terrain can be a supplementary aid for Mimikyu and its allies, as it prevents the raid Pokemon from inflicting status moves on the team.
