This Bellibolt build is intended to take on clearing non Ground-type raids solo.
Bellibolt's natural bulk allows it to tank most attacks, even some super-effective Ground-type moves.
Bellibolt's Ability Electromorphosis doubles the base power of Electric-type moves, which is Parabolic Charge in this case, allowing it to deal damage to the Raid Pokemon while recovering health. It should also hold a Magnet to further boost the power of its attack.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards a bulky offense to help with survivability and with dealing as much damage as possible. Max out your HP and Special Attack EVs, and chuck the remaining EVs into Defense.
Bellibolt Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1 | Use Acid Spray to lower the Raid Pokemon's Special Defense stat. |
Turn 2 | Use Parabolic Charge to deal some damage and recover some health. |
Turn 3 | Use Acid Spray again to lower its Special Defense. |
Turn 4 | Set up Electric Terrain on the field. |
Turns 5+ | Attack with Parabolic Charge until Samurott is defeated. Terastallize after fully charging your Tera Orb. |
Optional | Set up Electric Terrain again if the effect runs out. |
On the first turn, use Acid Spray to lower the raid Pokemon's Special Defense, then attack with Parabolic Charge to deal some damage and recover lost health from the first set of attacks.
Use Acid Spray again then set up Electric Terrain to boost your attacks. After setting up the terrain, attack with Parabolic Charge until you clear the raid.

This Tera Build for Bellibolt is powerful against any Pokemon that isn't a Grass, Ground, or another Electric-type. It focuses on powering up its moves with Electric Terrain, buffing or healing itself with Charge Beam or Parabolic Charge, using Rain Dance, then finishing the enemy off by Terastallizing and using Thunder.
We recommend getting an Electric Tera Type Bellibolt because its Tera form will power up its Electric-type moves, especially Thunder. Also, giving it a Modest nature would be best.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards a Bulky Offense, so Bellibolt can stay in battle long enough to finish off its foes. Max out your HP and Sp. Atk EVs, and chuck the remaining EVs into Defense.
Bellibolt Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1 |
Use Electric Terrain. |
Turns 2~4 | Use Charge Beam to increase Sp. Atk., and deal 3x damage through Bellibolt's STAB Electromorphosis Ability, and Electric Terrain. Take another hit, and get charged up some more. Alternatively, use Parabolic Charge to recover HP and follow the same process as Charge Beam. |
Turn 5 | Use Rain Dance in order to prepare for 100% accurate Thunder. |
Turn 6 | Use Electric Terrain again (after 5 turns the effects will have ended). |
Turn 7 | Terastallize and use 100% accurate, Thunder with all the boosts from STAB, Terastallizing, Electric Terrain, Electromorphosis and Special Attack Charge Beam boosts until opponent is defeated. |
Any Turn |
If you are running Charge Beam, use the Heal Up Cheer on any turns that you are too low on HP. |
Start the battle by using Electric Terrain to boost all of your Electric-type moves. From here either use Parabolic Charge or Charge Beam, and take more hits to increase your power further with Electromorphosis.
Once you feel the time is right, use Rain Dance to increase the accuracy of Thunder, then spam it on the enemy until the battle is over.

You can catch a Bellibolt with an Electric Tera Type at Tagtree Thicket. Stick to where a river is cutting through the thicket, eat an Avocado Sandwich or any sandwich that increases Electric Encounter Power, and defeat a few Pokemon with Let's Go! mode to spawn Bellibolt.
Make sure to bring a Pokemon that has False Swipe and can inflict a status effect to make it easier to catch.
