Iron Moth can be found in the First Research Area in the Great Paldean Crater, also known as Area Zero. This region can only be accessed after you clear all story walkthrough paths, so make sure to do so as quickly as possible if you want to catch this rare Pokemon.

Also remember that Iron Moth is exclusive to Pokemon Violet. If you're playing Pokemon Scarlet, then you'll have to trade with friends that play Pokemon Violet in order to get your hands on this Pokemon.

why is water classified as a great tera type for it? I dont understand why water is considered a "great" boost type for iron moth when it doesnt even learn any water moves at least when i casually glanced at the available moves.
