Galarian Moltres having amazing bulk and a decent Special Attack stat makes it a great pick for Tera Raids. With the Berserk ability, you don't have to set up as much Nasty Plots in order to max out your Sp. Atk.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting Galarian Moltres with a Dark Tera Type to further increase the damage of Snarl and Fiery Wrath. As a Special Attacker, a Modest nature would work best for this Pokemon.

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards increasing the Pokemon's HP and Sp.Atk stats. Max out these EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Sp. Def. Equip the Pokemon with a Shell Bell to give it passive healing when it uses an attacking move.

Tera Raid Strategy

Galarian Moltres Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Optional Use Taunt to prevent the Raid Boss from using Status moves.
Turns 1~3 Use Nasty Plot to raise Galarian Moltres' Special Attack.
Turns 4-6 Use Snarl to reduce the Raid Boss' Special Attack and build up Tera Orb charges.
Turns 7+ Terastallize and use Fiery Wrath until the Raid Boss is defeated. You can also use Snarl if it resets its stats.

Start the raid by immediatly using Nasty Plot to raise Galarian Moltres' Sp. Atk to +6. You can also opt to use Taunt to stop the Raid Boss from using Status Moves.

With access to Nasty Plot, you can attack with Snarl or Fiery Wrath until you are able to Terastalize. Once you Terastalize, keep using Fiery Wrath until the Raid Boss is defeated.

If you have the money for it, you can just buy 26 HP Up (for HP), 26 Calcium (for Sp. Atk), and 1 Iron (for Def). All of these items can be bought at a Chansey Supply shop and it will cost you ₽530,000 in total.

Alternatively, you can use Power Items that you can buy at a Delibird Presents shop for ₽10,000 each. Have your Pokemon hold the respective Power Item while defeating the Pokemon listed below.
