The best ability for Annihilape in Tera Raid Battles is Defiant. The ability Defiant increases the user's Attack by two stages when the user's stats get lowered.
Alternatively, against a Raid Boss which uses moves such as Yawn or Spore to put you to sleep, Vital Spirit is the best Ability!
An Annihilape with a Ghost Tera Type works due to Rage Fist's damage scaling higher with this Tera Type. As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature would work best for this Pokemon.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards increasing the Pokemon's HP and Attack. Max out these EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Shell Bell allows for passive healing while attacking.
Turn-by-Turn Raid Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~3 | Use Bulk Up to increase your Attack and Defense by three stages. |
Turns 4~6 | Use Screech to lower the target's Defense by 6 stages. |
Low HP Turn | Use Drain Punch to regain HP |
Turns 7+ | Terastallize into a Ghost type, and use Rage Fist which should be at its maximum damage from taking multiple hits. |
Start out a Tera Raid Battle by using Bulk Up 3 times to raise your Attack and Def Stats to +3 while also taking hits to boost Rage Fist's BP.
Follow with 3 Screeches to drop the Raid Boss to -6 Def while also taking more Rage Fist boosts.
Use Drain Punch on turns where you are low on HP or against Fighting weak Raid Bosses.
Proceed to attack with Rage Fist, which should be at its maximum damage output by this point, as its damage increases by 50 every time you get hit, reaching a maximum of 350. Terastallize when you get a chance, to further boost your damage output and break through the Raid Boss' Energy Shield!

This Annihilape Build is a specialized Fighting Tera Build which opts to favor Drain Punch over Rage Fist.
The best ability for Annihilape in Tera Raid Battles is Defiant. The ability Defiant increases the user's Attack by two stages when the user's stats get lowered.
A Fighting Tera Type in conjunction with a Metronome held item, allows Annihilape to have great damage output combined with healing with consecutive Drain Punches.
As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature would work best for this Pokemon.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards increasing the Pokemon's HP and Attack. Max out your HP, and Atk EVs, while putting the remaining points into Defense. This allows Annihilape to have decent bulk, while still having high offense.
Give Annihilape a Metronome to boost the damage output of Drain Punch by 10% each time it is used consecutively!
Turn-by-Turn Raid Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~3 | Use Bulk Up to increase your Attack and Defense by three stages. |
Low HP Turn | Use Drain Punch to regain HP |
Turns 4~6 | Use Screech to lower the target's Defense by 6 stages. |
Turns 7+ | Use Drain Punch to deal large damage while also replenishing HP. Terastallize when possible. |
Start out the Tera Raid Battle by using Bulk Up 3 times to raise your Attack and Def Stats to +3.
Follow with 3 Screeches to drop the Raid Boss to -6 Def. Use Drain Punch when HP is Low to regain HP.
Proceed to attack consecutively with Drain Punch to boost it's damage each turn, while also replenishing your HP.
Terastallize when you get a chance, to further boost your damage output and break through the Raid Boss' Energy Shield!
You may consider using Rage Fist if you are knocked out at any stage, as it should be at its maximum damage output by this point, as its damage increases by 50 every time you get hit, reaching a maximum of 350. This would be more damage than a super-effective Drain Punch if you have lost your Metronome boost!

How to Make Best Annihilape Tera Raid Build |
---|
|
Annihilape is only obtained through evolution, so you would need to find and evolve a Primeape. Primeapes can be found in North Province Area 2 and West Province Area 1 south of Cascarrafa, in the bamboo forest.
Afterward, use the move Rage Fist for 20 Times. Once you've done so, level up via Rare Candies or EXP Candies to trigger the evolution.
Once Primeape evolves into Annihilape, its Tera Type will still be Fighting. You can change it to be Ghost Tera Type at Medali's Treasure Eatery for 50 Ghost Tera Shards.
If it has a different nature, you can use an Adamant Mint to change its nature to Adamant.
The easiest way to get this is by buying it from the Chansey Supply shop at Mesagoza for ₽20,000.
How to Change a Pokemon's Nature
If its ability is different from our recommendation, you can use an Ability Patch to change it.
This item is received by completing the Academy Ace Tournament or as a rare drop in 6 Stars Tera Raid Battles.
This will be required to change to or from the Hidden Ability Defiant.
Ability Patch Location and How to Get
If you have the money for it, you can just buy 26 Protein (for Atk), 26 HP Up (for HP), and 1 Iron (for Def). All of these items can be bought at a Chansey Supply shop and it will cost you ₽530,000 in total.
Alternatively, you can use Power Items that you can buy at a Delibird Presents shop for ₽10,000 each. Have your Pokemon hold the respective Power Item while defeating the Pokemon listed below.
Held Item | Number of Pokemon to Defeat | Defeat Any of These Pokemon |
---|---|---|

After EV training it, head to Montenevera and talk to the man with an Abomasnow near the Pokemon Center. He will hyper train your Pokemon using Bottle Caps.
A Bottle Cap can be bought at the Delibird Presents shops for ₽20,000 after getting 6 Gym Badges. 1 Bottle Cap is needed for each stat that will be maxed out.
Hyper Training: How to Increase IVs
Next, level it up to 100 to maximize its stats. The easiest way to do this is by farming Exp candies from Tera Raid Battles.
How to Level Up Fast: EXP Farming Guide
Lastly, give it a Metronome to boost the power of its Drain Punch in the Fighting Tera Build, or Shell Bell to allow for healing when using Rage Fist in the Ghost Tera Build!
These items can be bought from the Delibird Presents in Levincia for ₽15,000 or ₽20,000, respectively.
