Koraidon (Scarlet) and Miraidon (Violet) are the box legendaries of the game and the first Paradox Legendary Pokemon you'll encounter in the game.

Both legendaries are initially not useable in battle when you receive them at the start of the game but become a permanent party member you can switch to after completing the The Way Home.

A second Koraidon or Miraidon is available to catch after completing the base game's story. This is the same Koraidon or Miraidon that you'll need to fight as the final boss of the base game.

You can find it at the bottom area of Area Zero where the Area Zero Lab is and follow the winding road leading to a ledge with a large crystal where you can find the second Koraidon or Miraidon.
