Fezandipiti is a bulky Pokemon with Toxic Chain, which allows it to occasionaly badly poison an enemy with its moves.
Equipping it with a Leftovers can ensure that it can stick around longer and outlast its opponents.
Sludge Bomb | Moonblast |
Nasty Plot | Taunt |
Sludge Bomb is a STAB option that has a 30% chance to poison the target. The chance to poison a target is further boosted by the Toxic Chain ability.
Moonblast is a strong STAB option that hits most types for super-effective.
Nasty Plot is important since it increases your Sp. Atk. by two stages. Since Fezandipiti is built to be bulky, it is necessary to use this move to increase its damage output.
Taunt is useful to prevent opposing Pokemon from using their own setup moves like Swords Dance and Nasty Plot.

Best Water Type Pokemon for Ranked Battle
A full 252 EVs are put into Fezandipiti's HP, while 240 are put into Defense in order to increase its bulk. The other 16 EVs are put into Speed in order to help Fezandipiti outspeed other Pokemon with a middling speed tier.
A Bold Nature is preferred in order for Fezandipiti's Defense to match the value of its Special Defense.
Roost | Allows Fezandipiti to heal back half of its max HP. Useful if Leftovers healing is insufficient. |
---|---|
Substitute | A good option to keep Fezandipiti safe while setting up Nasty Plot. |
U-turn | If you need to pivot out Fezandipiti often to another Pokemon, then using U-Turn will be better than having to manually switch out everytime. |

Special Attacking Technician Pokemon. Good offensive typing. Decent 99 Base Speed.
|
Ability | Held Item | |
---|---|---|
Technician | Focus Sash |
Fezandipiti is a Special Attacking Technician Pokemon, who can deal boosted damage using Attacks with lower base power.
Equipping it with a Focus Sash can ensure that it can stick around longer in a match.
Acid Spray | Moonblast |
Icy Wind | Fake Out |
Acid Spray is a STAB option that benefits from a Technician boost. Its added effect is that it lowers the target's Special Attack stat.
Moonblast is a strong STAB option that hits most types for super-effective. With Fairy Tera, it can deal decent damage to Fairy-weak Pokemon.
Icy Wind is valuable Speed Control, which Fezandipiti can provide. This also gets a Technician boost.
Protect is useful for turns where Fezandipiti is in danger of taking a Fake Out. Opponents may also identify it as a threat to Flutter Mane, and target it down.

Fairy is the best Tera Type for this build because Fezandipiti can shed its weaknesses from its Poison typing, while boosting the power of its Fairy-type Moves.
Best Fairy Type Pokemon for Ranked Battle
Full 252 EVs are put into Fezandipiti's Speed and Special Attack, while the remaining 4 EVs are put into Special Defense, so that Fezandipiti can better take the occasional Flash Cannon.
A Timid Nature is preferred over a Modest Nature, to ensure that Fezandipiti isn't far behind base 100 Speed Pokemon, and so that it will always outspeed Pokemon that are slower than base 99, such as Urshifu who is base 97.
Dazzling Gleam | Another strong STAB option, which is a little weaker than Moonblast, but can hit both opponents. |
---|---|
Heat Wave | A good option if your team matches up poorly against Steel-types. |

Game8's Competitive Damage Calculator
For Singles, it is best for Fezandipiti to be used a bulky switch in to tank hits for its teammates. Fezandipiti can also threaten other bulky Pokemon by using Nasty Plot to increase its Special Attack.
For Doubles, Fezandipiti can be slotted into hyper offense teams with fast teammates and reliable means of Speed Control. Because Fezandipiti cannot be relied upon for taking KOs by itself, consider using it to soften up opposing Pokemon for its teammates.
Lead Attacker | Special Attacker | Physical Attacker |
---|---|---|
Fezandipiti | Wash Rotom | Ogerpon (Hearthflame Mask) |
Fezandipiti is used as a lead to threaten hazard setters and opposing setup Pokemon with Taunt. Rotom Wash and Hearthflame Mask Ogerpon compliment each other well defensively while also providing great offesnsive coverage.
Slowly whittle down your opponents with your bulky Fezandipiti and Rotom Wash to allow for a hyper offensive Hearthflame Mask Ogerpon to sweep.
Support / Special Attacker | Special Attacker |
---|---|
Tornadus (Incarnate Forme) | Fezandipiti |
Special Attacker | Special Attacker |
Chi-Yu | Flutter Mane |
Tornadus can set up Tailwind for Fezandipiti, who can repeatedly use Acid Spray and Icy Wind. After putting opponents to -2 Special Defense, Tornadus' Bleakwind Storms will start hurting your opponents even more.
Chi-Yu and Flutter Mane are strong, fast glass cannons who can benefit from Acid Spray's Special Defense drops.
Fezandipiti, a bird, does not have a Flying typing. Being a Poison-type, it is weak to Ground-type Attacks. It also has a mediocre Defense stat, making it easy prey for Pokemon with Heavy Slam.
