#2 | Heal Cheer | Screech | Screech | Wood Hammer |
This OHKO team strategy requires a dedicated team with three Corviknights as it is the best support that resist or is immune to a good amount of Venusaur's moves, while also providing Screech support, and a Physically Offensive Chesnaught to deal as much damage as possible with Wood Hammer.
At the start of the raid, two Corviknights should focus on increasing Chesnaught's survivability with a Def Cheer and Light Screen. Once the Chesnaught trainer notices the two buffs have been set, it can go ahead and Belly Drum safely while the other one uses Screech.
Next turn, the Corviknights who focused on Defense should Screech this turn while the other one will focus on healing Chesnaught with a Heal Cheer. Once all three Screeches are set-up, Chesnaught will deal the finishing blow with a Wood Hammer!

・
Leech Seed
・ Seed Bomb ・ Swords Dance ・ Spiky Shield ・An amazing pick for this raid thanks to it being either immune or resistant to all of Venusaur's moves. ・Bulletproof can easily get you free turns to set up against Venusaur. ・MUse Spiky Shield when Venusaur disables your ability. |
Corviknight

・
Defog
・ Screech ・ Light Screen ・ Taunt ・An amazing pick for this raid thanks to it being either immune or resistant to all of Venusaur's moves. ・Can use Taunt to reduce Venusaur's Speed. |
These solo counter Pokemon all have great typings that allow them to resist Venusaur' key STAB moves, while also dealing massive damage with their own STAB attacks.
They also have their own quirks and gimmicks against Venusaur's high Special Attack and its ability to set up Snow.
