Best Tera Type

Ground Tera Type is chosen for this build to give Farigiraf STAB on Shadow Ball.

Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards bulky offense. Max out your HP and Sp.Atk EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Special Defense.

Giving Farigiraf a Shell Bell ensures it gets passive healing from its attacks.

Tera Raid Strategy

Farigiraf Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Skill Swap to swap Abilities with Typhlosion and get Flash Fire to give Farigiraf immunity to Fire-type moves.
Turn 2 Use Light Screen to raise your team's Special Defense.
Turn 3~5 Use Shadow Ball to deal damage and build up Tera Orb Charge.
Note:Even if Clodsire faints, it will still retain its Tera Orb Charge.
Turns 6~8 Use Nasty Plot three times to raise Farigiraf's Sp.Atk by 6 stages.
Note: Make sure to use this move after Typhlosion resets all stat changes.
Turns 9+ Once you have enough Tera Orb Charge, terastallize into a Ghost-type and use boosted Shadow Ball to deal damage to Typhlosion's shield and finish the battle.

Start the battle by using Skill Swap to swap Abilities with Typhlosion. Although Farigiraf will lose its immunity to Grass-types, it will instead get an immunity to Fire-types thanks to Flash Fire.

Use Light Screen to raise your team's Special Defense. Then, use Shadow Ball to deal super effective damage to Typhlosion while also building up Tera Orb Charge. Take note that even if Farigiraf faints, it will still retain its Tera Orb Charge.

Once Typhlosion resets stat changes, use Nasty Plot three times to raise its Sp.Atk by 6 stages. Then, terastallize into a Ghost-type and use boosted Shadow Ball to damage Typhlosion's shield and finish the battle!
