Summary |
---|
Terapagos will always have access to a STAB move of all 18 types Calm Mind raises Sp. Atk and Sp. Def. Once Terastallized, you can hit any Raid Boss with a 130 BP Super Effective Tera Starstorm |
The best ability for Terapagos in Tera Raid Battles is Tera Shell. Tera Shell gives Terapagos a defensive boost when it is at full health as it makes any damaging moves not effective and deal reduced damage, regardless of type.
If Terapagos Terastallizes, it will transform in its Stellar Form and get a new Ability called Teraform Zero. This removes any active weather or terrain effects in battle once it activates. This means that Terastallizing Terapagos will remove any weather and terrain in the field.
We also recommend getting a Terapagos with a Stellar Tera Type because it is impossible to change Terapagos's Tera Type. As a Special Attacker, a Modest nature would work best for this Pokemon.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards increasing the Pokemon's HP and Sp.Atk stats. Max out these EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Special Defense. Equip the Pokemon with Shell Bell to regain HP when using damaging moves.
Terapagos is a special Pokemon whose moveset lets it deal as much damage with Tera Starstorm. Here's some moves we recommend that you can use to build Tera Orb charges with.

Terapagos Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~4 | Use Calm Mind for a good amount of Turns to boost your Sp. Atk and Sp. Def. |
Turns 5~7 | Use either your chosen STAB Move or Tri Attack to build Tera Orb Charges. |
Turns 8+ | Terastallize and switch to using Tera Starstorm to always deal Super Effective damge against all Raid Bosses. |
Thiis build focuses on using Calm Mind to buff yourself up so your special attacks can hit harder. This build works better with on a team with allies that can debuff the Raid Boss to make Tera Starstorm hit harder.
Super Effective (2x) |
None |
---|---|
Not Very Effective (x0.5) | |
No Effect (x0) |
This Terapagos Tera Raid Build is best used against Tera Raid Bosses that have super weak Special Defense stats. This build shines better when used in a team with debuffers.
