Vaporeon Location

The easiest way to find and catch a Vaporeon in the wild is to find the wild Water Tera-type Vaporeon on a small lake at the northwestern island in Casseroya Lake.

Note that this particular Tera-type Pokemon is at Level 55, so you may need your Pokemon to be around the same level to weaken and capture it.

All Wild Tera Pokemon Locations

Found around Casseroya Lake

Vaporeon can be found around Casseroya Lake. However, it is not recommended to directly catch it due to its rare appearance. Catch an Eevee instead and evolve it into a Vaporeon using a Water Stone.

Nature Chart and How to Check Natures

Raise Special Attack to Increase Usefulness in Combat

As Vaporeon already has High Special Attack, we recommend a nature that boosts its Special Attack as well. For anyone who wants to boost Vaporeon's attacks and proceed through the story without hassle, we recommend a Modest nature.

Increase Defenses to use Vaporeon as a Tank

Vaporeon's high defense makes it incredibly effective as a tank if you choose to invest in its defenses. Since Vaporeon's pure Water typing gives it very few weaknesses, and it already learns a lot of support moves, it will prove to be a helpful ally by providing a strong defense.

Use Mints to Change the Nature of a Pokemon

You can use Mints to change the nature of any Pokemon you capture. They can be found on the ground throughout Paldea, or bought from the Chansey Supply store for ₽20,000 each.
