Rusted Sword |
Crowned Zacian's incredibly high Attack stat paired with Behemoth Blade's high base Power and Intrepid Sword's free Attack boost allows Zacian to OHKO the Raid Boss through the help of Steely Spirit Perrserkers.
We also recommend getting a Zacian with a Steel Tera Type because Behemoth Blade's damage gets a further damage increase when you Terastallize to Steel. As a Physical Attacker, Adamant nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards Bulky Offense. Max out your HP and Atk EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Sp. Def. Give it Rusted Sword to change Zacian's form, and change Iron Head into Behemoth Blade.

This OHKO team strategy requires a dedicated team with three Perrserkers to stack Steely Spirit boosts, while also providing Screech support, and a Physically Offensive Zacian to deal as much damage as possible with Behemoth Blade.
At the start of the raid, all three Perrserkers should use Screech to lower the Raid Boss's Defense stat by 6 stages.
Once all the Screech animations are finished, Zacian should then use Behemoth Blade, which should deal enough damage to OHKO the Raid Boss.

---|---|
Behemoth Blade (x3 Steely Spirit, +1 Atk) 14,052 ~ 16,536 (129 ~ 151.7%) |
Using this strategy it should take just 1 turn to take out 7-Star Raid Boss!

Rusted Sword |
The best ability for Zacian in Tera Raid Battles is Intrepid Sword. This gives Zacian a free Attack boost at the start of the raid.
We also recommend getting a Zacian with a Steel Tera Type because Behemoth Blade's damage gets a further damage increase when you Terastallize to Steel. As a Physical Attacker, Adamant nature would be best.

Zacian Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~2 | Use Swords Dance twice to boost Zacian's Attack to +5. |
Turns 3~5 | Use Metal Claw to deal damage and build Tera Orb Charge. |
Turns 6+ | Terastallize and use Behemoth Blade to deal massive damage and finish the raid. |
Start the battle off by using Swords Dance twice to build up Attack boosts. Since Intrepid Sword already gives Zacian an instant +1 Atk, using Swords Dance twice allows you to reach +5 Atk within two turns.
After getting your stat boosts, use Metal Claw first to build Tera Orb charge, mainly because Behemoth Blade only has a base PP of 5, and is best used after Terastallizing. Once your Tera Orb is fully charged, Terastallize and use Behemoth Blade to deal massive damage and end the raid.
Additionally, Noble Roar can also be used at the start of some raids to lower the Raid Pokemon's damage, and increase Zacian's survivability.

This Zacian Tera Raid Build is an effective counter to Ice, Rock, and Fairy Type Tera Raid Bosses. If the Tera Raid Boss is usually a Fire, Ground, or Fighting Type outside of Terastallization, perhaps consider a different build, as Zacian will be weak to these Types as a Steel-Type attacker.
