Finish the base game and The Teal Mask DLC to start the Indigo Disk DLC content as part of the second wave of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)'s The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. Read on and learn how to start the Indigo Disk DLC and how to get to Blueberry Academy in this guide!
The second expansion for the DLC, The Indigo Disk, has released as of December 14, 2023, as part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. The Indigo Disk lets you visit the Blueberry Academy and explore the grand Terarium, which houses several Pokemon unavailable in Paldea and Kitakami!
Select the correct item from the shop to avoid problems when purchasing the DLC. If you own a copy of either Pokemon Scarlet or Violet, purchase the DLC only, which is $34.99. Buying the base game and DLC bundle may result in an extra copy of the game on your account, which could further complicate things.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC: Release Date and Everything We Know
With the DLC purchased, be sure to update your game. You can do this by hovering over the game on the Switch Home Screen, pressing the + button to go into options, then selecting Software Update.
The game should update to Version 3.0.0 to access the DLC.
To start The Indigo Disk DLC, you need to finish both the base game's story and The Teal Mask, as this second part of the DLC serves as the grand conclusion to the entirety of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
This means that you need to complete Victory Road, Starfall Street, Path of Legends, The Way Home, and all of The Teal Mask's story to fully progress through the Indigo Disk's story

Although you can start The Indigo Disk DLC without completing the base game and The Teal Mask DLC, the game will stop your progress once you start a class in the Terarium.
A text will inform you to complete the base game and The Teal Mask DLC before you can proceed.
Carmine, a significant character you meet in the Teal Mask DLC, will not show up in the Terarium's Central Plaza if you have not completed The Teal Mask's story. This will prevent you from progressing through The Indigo Disk story.
If you've met the conditions to start The Indigo Disk DLC, Director Clave will call you and invite you to visit the Academy regarding the Blueberry Academy's exchange student program.
Head back to the Academy and speak to the gentleman with the white hat and suit. Director Clavell later introduces him as Director Cyrano, the Director of Blueberry Academy.
After this conversation, speak to Cyrano again to start your adventure in the Blueberry Academy in the Indigo Disk DLC!
Battles at the Blueberry Academy in the Indigo Disk DLC are Doubles battles at a high level of play, which most players who have only experienced the main story might not be ready for. Make sure to also have your Pokemon team at least Level 70 and above.

Press the Y Button to access the map and Press R to switch between the maps until it shows the Blueberry Academy map. Move the cursor to the wing icon on the dome located on the map's bottom left or southeast corner and choose Fly to access Blueberry Academy.
If you don't have access to the fly spots in the Terrarium yet, you'll need to locate the fly spot for the Blueberry Academy Entrance at the bottom right corner of your map and fly there.

you don't need to finish main story or finish kitakami to start indigo disk, however unlike in DLC1 even if you go to bluebery before 1st gym you have to fight lv70 for the first battle (you can loss and story continue) and collect new dex, map, new uniform (pokemon lv start at lv56 to catch)
