This build focuses on Iron Leaves' secondary typing which is Grass, so it's main weapon will be Leaf Blade. Unlike the previous build, this move will not benefit from Electric Terrain, but the terrain will still activate Quark Drive and boost Iron Leaves' Defense when it consumes its held Electric Seed.
Let Iron Leaves have a Grass Tera Type to boost the power of Leaf Blade, atop from the stat raises you will get from Swords Dance.
Iron Leaves' EV spread for this build will also lean on making it a bulky physical attacker, so you should max out your HP and Attack EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense.
Iron Leaves Grass Attacker Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy |
|
---|---|
Turn 1 | Use Leer to lower the Defense stat of the raid boss. |
Turns 2~4 | Use Swords Dance to fully boost Iron Leaves' Attack stat. |
Turns 5 | Use Electric Terrain to activate Quark Drive and use the held Electric Seed. |
Turns 6+ | Attack with Leaf Blade. |
Optional | Terastallize when you can and use Leaf Blade. |
At the start of the raid, use Leer to lower the raid boss' Defense stat, which will also help you and other physical attackers in your team later when you all start using your offensive moves.
Follow this up with Swords Dance to raise Iron Leaves' Attack stat, then set up Electric Terrain to activate Quark Drive and Electric Seed.
Once you are all set, start attacking with Leaf Blade. Terastallize Iron Leaves once you fully charge your Tera Orb to power up Leaf Blade even more.

This Grass Tera Type build for Iron Leaves is an effective counter to Water, Rock, and Ground-type Tera Raid bosses. If you are facing a boss which has a Grass, Fire, Bug, Steel, Poison, Flying, or Dragon Tera Type, avoid using this build and opt for another Pokemon instead.

Shell Bell |
This Iron Leaves Electric Tera Type build takes advantage of its high Attack stat and the synergy between Quark Drive and Electric Terrain.
Quark Drive will boost Iron Leaves' highest stat, which is Attack for this build, and Electric Terrain will boost the power of Electric-type attacks by 30%. This will be improved even further if you can raise your Attack stat with Swords Dance.
Iron Leaves' main attack for this build is Wild Charge. Due to the recoil damage from this move, let it hold Shell Bell to recover health lost from using Wild Charge.
Since this Tera Build is centered around Electric Terrain and Wild Charge, change Iron Leaves' Tera Type into Electric to further power up Wild Charge.
Like with the previous builds, Iron Leaves' EV spread should still lean on making it a bulky physical attacker. Max out your HP and Attack EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense.
Iron Leaves Electric Attacker Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy |
|
---|---|
Turn 1 | Use Taunt to prevent raid boss from using status moves. |
Turn 2 | Use Swords Dance to raise your Attack stat. |
Turn 3 | Set up Electric Terrain in the field. |
Turns 4-6 | Use Wild Charge to deal damage and build up Tera Orb charge. |
Turns 7+ | Terastallize into Electric Tera Type, then keep spamming Wild Charge. |
At the start of the raid, use Taunt to hinder the raid boss from using any status moves, then follow it up with Swords Dance to raise your attack by two stages.
Next, summon Electric Terrain to activate Iron Leaves' Quark Drive, boosting its Attack stat. You can then start attacking with Wild Charge while healing any lost HP from the move with Shell Bell.
Once you charge up your Tera Orb, Terastallize to give another boost to Wild Charge.

This Electric Tera Type build for Iron Leaves works best against Flying and Water-type Tera Raid bosses, but will not do well against Grass, Electric, Dragon, and Ground-type Pokemon.
