Hisuian Goodra's signature move Shelter synergizes well with Body Press, an attack which relies on the user's Defense stat. This build takes advantage of that combo and frames Hisuian Goodra as a Fighting Tera Type attacker.

Its Ability Shell Armor helps it be protected from critical hits, which further improves its survivability in the field. It can also hold a Shell Bell to help Hisuian Goodra recover health as it attacks.

We recommend getting a Hisuian Goodra with a Fighting Tera Type for this build to improve the damage output of Body Press. As a physical attacker, an Adamant Nature would be best.

Hisuian Goodra Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turns 1~3 Use Shelter to build up Hisuian Goodra's Defense stat.
Turns 4~6 Use Body Press to deal damage and charge up your Tera Orb.
Optional Use Life Dew to heal teammates.
Turns 7+ Terastallize and use a boosted Body Press to deal massive damage.

Start the raid with Shelter to raise Hisuian Goodra's Defense stat by up to six stages, then attack with Body Press. The move's damage output will be improved due to Hisuian Goodra's Defense boosts, which is the main strategy behind this build.

Terastallize when you can to power up Body Press even further. If you and your teammates need some immediate healing, you can use Life Dew.
