How to Challenge Elite Four Crispin | |
---|---|
Head to the Savanna Plaza in the southeast section of the Savanna Biome and pay the receptionist 10 BP to challenge Crispin. | |
Take on Crispin's Elite Trial: Make a super-spicy sandwich! | |
Challenge Crispin to a Pokemon Battle! |
Crispin's Elite Trial requires you to assemble a super-spicy sandwich, but the catch is that you need to trade with other league club members to collect the right ingredients!
The first trainer to look out for is a girl who'll want to engage in a battle for Potato Salad. She will have a Camerupt and an Eelektross. While the Potato Salad itself is not spicy, you'll need to trade it with other trainers in the trial.
The Onion is the first of five ingredients you'll need for the Super-Spicy Sandwich. But you'll have to trade the other two ingredients for spicier ones later so hold on to them for now.
The Chili Sauce is the second of the five ingredients you'll need for the Super-Spicy Sandwich. If you're following along with our guide, you should have Onion, Chili Sauce, and Prosciutto left in your inventory.
Like the Potato Salad, you'll need Mayonnaise to trade for other spicier ingredients. Challenge the girl raving about Mayonnaise and defeat both of his Pyroar to obtain the Mayo.
A boy will offer a quiz asking which ingredient is composed of Egg, Olive Oil, and Vinegar. By showing him Mayonnaise, he'll give you these ingredients which Mayonnaise is made of. Again, none of these are needed for Crispin's super-spicy sandwich, but they'll be useful for ingredient trades.
Find the three trainers huddled together. One of them will be asking for Eggs. Trade the Eggs you received in the previous step for the student offering Chorizo. This will be the third of the five ingredients you'll need for the Super-Spicy Sandwich.
Right next to the student offering Chorizo, is a student who is offering either Mustard or Marmalade. Trade your Vinegar for her Mustard to obtain the fourth ingredient required for the Super-Spicy Sandwich.
Note: In case you mistakenly traded for Marmalade instead of Mustard, you can speak with the student again to swap your Marmalade for Mustard.
If you've been following along with this guide you should have only Prosciutto and Olive Oil left as the extra ingredients not needed for the sandwich. This is perfect as one of the students will trade you a Jalapeno for both of these ingredients, allowing you to get the final ingredient needed for the Super-Spicy Sandwich
There is a trainer that can be found behind a large rock that will offer Jalapenos for 50 BP, or as a reward for beating him in battle. It should be noted that you can save time and BP by not battling this trainer. One Jalapeno will be enough for Crispin's Elite Trial Challenge. However, if you do decide to go through his difficult battle or pay the extra 50 BP, you'll have a special cutscene with Crispin from using two Jalapenos in your Super-Spicy Sandwich.
With all the ingredients ready, you can approach Crispin to assemble the sandwich for him. With your team ready for battle, go ahead and serve him your fiery sandwich and enjoy his pained expression to clear Crispin's Elite Trial!

How to Challenge Elite Four Amarys | |
---|---|
Head to the Canyon Plaza in the central area of the Canyon Biome and pay the receptionist 10 BP to challenge Amarys. | |
Take on Amarys' Elite Trial: Flying Time Trial! | |
Challenge Amarys to a Pokemon Battle! |
Amarys' Elite Trial is one of the easier trials out of the four Elite Trials as you only need to fly through the Magnemite rings and reach the finish line using Koraidon or Miraidon under 30 seconds.
The 30 second time limit might sound short but you don't have to worry as passing through one ring successfully grants you an additional 3 seconds to your time, giving you more time to clear the trial.
There will be Rings held up by Magnemite and you must pass through as many rings as you can within a certain time limit if you want to challenge Amarys!
Just like Gliding, your Miraidon or Koraidon will naturally want to go down, make sure to recenter yourself before passing through the next ring.
You can change your Flying settings from the Menu. Make sure to change the controls and camera with the settings you prefer. You can invert the Axis if that's what you are more comfortable with or fix the camera speed to help with motion.

---|---|
Fly Up | Move the left stick up. |
Fly Down | Move the left stick down. |
Change Direction | Move the left stick left or right. |

How to Challenge Elite Four Lacey | |
---|---|
Head to the Coastal Plaza in the central area of the Coastal Biome and pay the receptionist 10 BP to challenge Lacey. | |
Take on Lacey's Elite Trial: Pokemon Quiz! | |
Challenge Lacey to a Pokemon Battle! |
Lacey's Trial involves her asking you five different questions that you must answer correctly in order to pass her Elite Trial. This involves the player pointing which correct body part of the Pokemon is the answer to Lacey's question.
Point at Pikachu's red cheeks using the left stick and press A to pass this question. The first question involves Pikachu where Lacey will ask you which body part does Pikachu stores their electricity.
The answer to the second question is to point at Venonat's eyes. Laceys question involves which part of Venonat acts as a radar in the dark
Point at the Sinistea on the center. This question will make you choose which Sinistea is in its antique form. The clue here is to look for the mark underneath the cup which indicates that it's the Antique Form.
When choosing between all the rocks, pick the one at the middle center. This question involves Lacey showing you a pink Minior and other different colored Miniors. They will transform into rocks and mix themselves up and you need to track what position the pink Minior is at.
The answer for this question is to point at Granbull's tummy. The question involves Lacey asking which body part of Granbull does Lacey use as a pillow when she is taking a nap.
Failing twice on each of these questions will put you into a trainer battle so you need to prepare in case you manage to fail answering correctly.
Winning the battle will let you pass that question and you can move to the next question.

How to Challenge Elite Four Drayton | |
---|---|
Head to the Polar Plaza in the northwestern side of the Polar Biome and pay the receptionist 10 BP to challenge Drayton. | |
Take on Drayton's Elite Trial: Terarium-Only Battles! | |
Challenge Drayton to a Pokemon Battle! |
Drayton's Elite Trial is one of the harder trials as he'll only let you participate if you use Pokemon that you caught within the Terarium and caught by yourself. This means that you cannot use your regular team that you caught from the Paldea region nor from Kitakami region.

These two Pokemon leveled to 100 should be enough to get through Drayton's Elite Trial. For safety, it is still recommended to bring extra Pokemon in case either or both of these Pokemon faint.
Craig the Student is the trainer that you can fight on the left. If you feel that you are ready to take him on, go talk to him and the battle will begin. He will send out Bastiodon and Rampardos both at Level 68.
It is recommended to target Bastiodon with both of your Pokemon's Energy Balls because of its ability Sturdy. This should leave Ramparados left alive to be easily taken out by more Energy Balls.
Winter the Student is the trainer in the middle. She will send out Alolan Sandslash and Dewgong, both at Level 68 like the other students.
For this fight, it is recommended to use Farigiraf's Hyper Voice and Whimsicott's Helping Hand. Even if Alolan Sandslash resists Hyper Voice, it should still get knocked out because of its low Sp. Def and Choice Specs + Helping Hand's damage boost.
Ray the Student is the trainer on the right and will send out Magnezone and Zebstrika both at Level 68 like the other students' Pokemon.
Similar to the last fight, use Farigiraf's Hyper Voice but use Whimsicott's Tailwind instead. This is to ensure that Farigiraf outspeeds Zebstrika and Magnezone gets KO'd in two hits.
