Battle Items are trainer-activated items in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) that can be used to give your team an advantage in battles. Read on to learn about all the Battle Items, where to buy them, and what effects they have!
How to Get Battle Items
Available at Chansey Supply Shops
Some Battle Items can be purchased at the Chansey Supply shops around Paldea. More items will become available as you get more Gym Badges.

 Dire Hit
|
Effect Temporarily increases the user's critical-hit ratio by 1 in battle and wears off once the Pokemon is withdrawn. It also increases Friendship. Location(s) • Chansey Supply • West Province (Area One) |
 Guard Spec.
|
Effect An item used to protect a Pokemon from stat reduction for five turns in battle. It increases the Pokemon's Friendship. Location(s) • Chansey Supply |
 Poke Doll
|
Effect Used to escape from any battle with a wild Pokemon. Location(s) • All Poke Marts • via Pickup Ability |
 X Accuracy
|
Effect An item used to increase the Accuracy of a Pokemon by two stages in battle. The effects will wear off once the battle is over or the Pokemon is withdrawn. It increases the Pokemon's Friendship. Location(s) • Chansey Supply |
 X Attack
|
Effect An item used to increase the Attack of a Pokemon by two stages in battle. The effects will wear off once the battle is over or the Pokemon is withdrawn. It increases the Pokemon's Friendship. Location(s) • Chansey Supply |

What are Battle Items?
Useful in Battles
Battle Items are items that you can use during battles against wild Pokemon and trainers alike. These items give your Pokemon a significant boost and advantage over your opponent.
Additionally, these items also increase the friendship of the Pokemon you used them on!
Can't Be Used Against Other Players
When battling other players either by local communication or online, you cannot used items from your Bag. This means that Battle Items cannot be used when facing another player, and are useful only in single player.
