This build is designed to counter Flying-type Pokemon. Miraidon's unique typing allows it to resist most moves. Paired with its amazing stats, it has no problem going up against raid bosses with Flying Tera Types.
We also recommend getting a Miraidon with an Electric Tera Type to increase the damage of Electro Drift and Parabolic Charge once Miraidon Terastallizes. As a Special Attacker, a Modest nature would be best.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards bulky offense to increase survivability while dealing as much damage as possible. Max out its HP and Sp. Atk EVs, while adding the rest into Defense. Give it a Life Orb to maximize its damage output.
Miraidon Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~2 | Use Metal Sound to lower target's Sp. Def stat. |
Turn 3 | Use Charge to double Electro Drift's base power. |
Turn 4 | Use Electro Drift to deal Super Effective damage, and finish the Raid. |
Start the battle by using Metal Sound to lower the raid boss' Sp. Def by 4 stages, allowing you to deal massive damage with Electro Drift
By using Charge, Electro Drift's Base Power is then increased to 200, and with the raid Pokemon's lowered Sp. Def stat, using Electro Drift should result in a OHKO.
Results may still vary depending on how early the raid boss puts up its Energy Shield and removes debuffs. Speed is key for this strategy, and doing the raid with AI teammates instead may yield better results.

We recommend getting a Miraidon with an Electric Tera Type, as it will allow you to make good use of its Hadron Engine Ability and Electric-type moves. As a Special Attacker, a Modest Nature is recommended.
Miraidon's amazing base stats make it function well as a Special Attacker, where it can make use of powerful moves such as Electro Drift and Dragon Pulse. As such, max out your Sp. Attack and HP EVs to further enhance its amazing stats. We recommend making it hold a pair of Wise Glasses to further boost its Special Attacks.

To get Miraidon as a Pokemon in your party, you will have to complete the game.
After beating the game and if you have room for Miraidon in your party, simply press the X Button to bring up the menu, and you will be prompted whether or not you want to use the Pokemon in Battle Form.
Note that if you press the Plus (+) button to ride Miraidon, it will be removed from your party. So be sure to open the menu to see if Miraidon is part of your party before starting a battle.
You can also encounter and catch the second Miraidon in The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero) after completing the game.
You'll need to head to the bottommost part of Area Zero and follow the road leading to a ledge where you can find Miraidon on top of it.
Regarding Tera Raid Battles, we recommend using the second Miraidon that you can catch, as its Nature and Tera Typing are better suited to take advantage of its stats and moves.
How to Get the Second Koraidon/Miraidon
If you have the money for it, you can just buy 26 Calcium (for Sp. Atk), 26 HP Up (for HP), and 1 Zinc (for Sp. Def) or an Iron (for Def). All of these items can be bought at a Chansey Supply shop and it will cost you ₽530,000 in total.
Alternatively, you can use Power Items that you can buy at a Delibird Presents shop for ₽10,000 each. Have your Pokemon hold the respective Power Item while defeating the Pokemon listed below.

After EV training it, head to Montenevera and talk to the man with an Abomasnow near the Pokemon Center. He will hyper train your Pokemon using Bottle Caps.
A Bottle Cap can be bought at the Delibird Presents shops for ₽20,000 after getting 6 Gym Badges. 1 Bottle Cap is needed for each stat that will be maxed out.

Next, level it up to 100 to maximize its stats. The easiest way to do this is by farming Exp candies from Tera Raid Battles.

We recommend making Miraidon hold Life Orb to further boost the power of its moves in exchange of HP. It can be bought at the Mesagoza Delibird Presents shop for ₽50,000, and is available early-game.
Wise Glasses is another great alternative, which will increase its Special Attacking moves by 10%.
Both of these Items can be purchased from Delibird Presents.

There’s so many errors throughout. You start by recommending maxing out speed for EV training but elsewhere it says to do so for HP
