Fastest Way to Make Money After Clearing The Indigo Disk

Farm the Academy Ace Tournament with Ice-Type Legendaries

Pokemon Description
White Kyurem ImageWhite Kyurem Nature: Modest
EV: Speed, Special Attack
Held Item: Choice Specs
Move to Use: Ice Beam
Using Ice Beam with Choice Specs equipped will deal significant damage to your opponents, especially considering it's a STAB move, further increasing the damage!
Calyrex (Ice Rider) ImageCalyrex (Ice Rider) Nature: Adamant
EV: Speed, Attack
Held Item: Choice Band
Move to Use: Glacial Lance
Glacial Lance boasts 130 Power with 100 Accuracy, making it possible to one-shot most opponents in the tournament. Keep in mind its low PP, which can be solved with PP Ups.

Strong Ice-Types are Recommended

We recommend using Ice-Type Legendary Pokemon with high-damaging moves in the Academy Ace Tournament. Not only do they possess the speed and toughness, but they can potentially OHKO most Pokemon in the tournament.

To minimize the chance of losing, avoid using low PP moves all the time especially if you can knock out the opposing Pokemon with a relatively weaker Pokemon.

You Can Also Use a Single Pokemon

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - Solo Run

If you do not have access to the Ice-type Legendary Pokemon, using one strong Pokemon to defeat all trainers in the tournament is a simpler way to farm money.

Pokemon to Use

Pokemon Description
Sylveon ImageSylveon Nature: Modest
EV: Defense, Special Attack, Agility
Held Item: Amulet Coin
Move to Use: Hyper Voice
Sylveon is a good alternative for Flutter Mane, who is a Scarlet-exclusive Paradox Pokemon, or the Legendary Chi-Yu. Its hidden ability, Pixilate, can turn its Normal-type moves into Fairy-type to capitalize on its strength.
▶︎Best Sylveon Money Farming Build
Chi-Yu ImageChi-Yu Nature: Modest
EV: Defense, Special Attack
Held Item: Amulet Coin
Move to Use: Dark Pulse
Chi-Yu's Dark Pulse is a recommended move to farm the Academy Ace Tournament as it can flinch enemies, allowing you to attack consistently without taking damage.
Flutter Mane ImageFlutter Mane
(Scarlet Exclusive)
Nature: Modest
EV: HP, Special Attack
Held Item: Amulet Coin
Move to Use: Moonblast
Should you own Pokemon Scarlet or have managed to trade a Flutter Mane, using its Level 84 learned move Moonblast can wipe out foes quickly.
Koraidon ImageKoraidon
(Scarlet Exclusive)
Nature: Adamant
EV: HP, Attack
Held Item: Choice Band
Move to Use: Iron Head
Though not naturally learned, teaching Koraidon Iron Head is recommended as flinched foes can easily be defeated especially with Koraidon's high Attack stat.
Miraidon ImageMiraidon
(Violet Exclusive)
Nature: Modest
EV: HP, Special Attack
Held Item: Wise Glasses
Move to Use: Flash Cannon
Giving Miraidon Wise Glasses as well as teaching it Flash Cannon can increase Miraidon's Special Attack while lowering the Special Defense of foes, knocking them out fast.

These Pokemon are meant to complete the Academy Ace Tournament as quickly as possible while holding a Amulet Coin to maximize money received. Having this setup aims to defeat opponents in one blow, allowing you to farm the tournament and rack up money along the way.

Note that the Koraidon and Miraidon's setup does not have them hold the Amulet Coin, which may be less efficient compared to the other three when it comes to money gained. Instead, their setup is geared towards beating the tournament as quickly as possible for farming.

Having one Pokemon in your party as well has having the recommended move as the top option in battle removes the prompt of having to switch Pokemon after beating an enemy Pokemon, allowing you to just mash the A button repeatedly until you've completed the entire tournament.

Total Money Earned

With Amulet Coin Around ₽105,600
Without Amulet Coin Around ₽52,800

Completing one full set of Academy Ace Tournament matches, which is 4 cosnecutive trainer battles, will net you around ₽52,800 if none of the Pokemon you used in battle is holding an Amulet Coin.

If you are using the money farm strategy with an Amulet Coin, you will be able to double that yield and earn around ₽105,600 after winning all four battles.

Farm Money With the Item Printer

Sell Items Produced in the Item Printer

Pokemon SV - Item Printer

You can get items, sometimes high-valued ones, which you can sell by putting in dropped Pokemon materials into the Item Printer.

How to Unlock Item Printer

Best Materials to Farm for the Item Printer

Happiny Dust

Pokemon that Drops Happiny Dust
Happiny ImageHappiny Chansey ImageChansey

Collect Happiny Dust by defeating Happiny and Chansey, with lots of them spawning at North Provice (Area Three).

Happiny Dust provides 68% of the required materials per print job. If you're completing 10 print jobs, which require 1000% of materials, you'll need about 15 Happiny Dust to print items.

Sableye Gem

Pokemon that Drops Sableye Gem
Sableye ImageSableye

Collect Sableye Gems by defeating Sableye found in the tunnel system in the northern area of East Provice (Area Three). Try eating a sandwich that boosts the appearance rate of Sableye for easier farming.

While it provides 45%, which is lower than a Happiny Dust, it does provide more percentage than most of the materials.

How to Make Money Fast

Use the Picnic Item Farm Glitch

Picnic Item Farm - Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)

If you find a shiny item in the Asado Desert, save your game before you pick it up! Because it might be a Star Piece you can put your picnic egg basket over to make a Star Piece farm that will earn you between 60,000 to 100,000 Pokedollars every 30 minutes.

All you need for this potentially lucrative money-making opportunity is a few sandwich ingredients, two of the same Pokemon, and a little patience. If you want to know how to do it, read our guide below.

Farm Valuable Items from Tera Raid Battles

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - Tera Raid Rewards

Farming Tera Raid Battles and selling the received rewards is also a good way to earn money. From these battles, you can get items like Mushrooms and Pearls that can net you between 250 to 10,000 Pokedollars per piece when you sell them!

Remember, the more stars a Tera Raid battle has, the more valuable the items you get once you finish it. So fight Tera Raid battles that have the highest amount of stars you can manage for more valuable items.

Farm Items from Wild Pokemon

Use Item Stealing moves

You can steal a wild Pokemon's held item infinitely! A wild Pokemon holding an item will always have its held item regardless of how many times you steal it.

Once you have confirmed that the wild Pokemon is holding the item you want, you can use Item-stealing moves like Thief or Covet to steal the item, run away from the battle, and when you challenge the same Pokemon, it will have the item up for grabs again!

Money Farming Methods Comparison

Money per Minute Breakdown

Money Earned Comparison
Farming Method Total Money Earned ₽/min
Tournament Sylveon +
H - Zoroark
₽217,600 ₽14,000/min
Tournament
Solo Sweep
₽105,600 ₽7,800/min
Picnic Farm Glitch ₽84,000 (30 Min Avg.) ₽2,800/min
Farm Held Items ₽45,000 (30 Min Avg.) ₽1,500/min

Hisuian Zoroark + Sylveon Gives Highest Amount of Money

As seen in the table above, farming the Academy Ace Tournament will yield the highest amount of money, especially when using Hisuian Zoroark and Sylveon, making it the best way to farm money.

Since Hisuian Zoroark with Happy Hour is somewhat of an exclusive Pokemon, farming the Ace Tournament with a solo sweeper is the next best option.

While this is still a great way to earn money, it might be more challenging due to the increased Pokemon levels in the tournament after the Indigo Disk DLC update. Consider replacing Sylveon with either White Kyurem or Ice Rider Calyrex if you have them.

Picnic Farm Glitch Requires Least Effort

Despite ranking third overall, the Picnic Farm Glitch will yield the most amount of money with the least amount of preparation and effort required. For players without turbo controllers or those who do not want to manually challenge the Ace Academy tournament multiple times, the Picnic Farm Glitch is the best alternative.

Players can simply leave their game open running in the background after setting up the Picnic Farm, and come back to collect their spoils every few minutes.

If going for turbo afk academy ace tournament, you might need a jolly nature Calyrex Ice Rider so it can out speed almost everything. Its high attack will OHKO everything without adament nature.

15 Justice4Vaporeonover 1 year

Unless you haven't already beat the Ace Tournament, you don't need to use One Shot F̶i̶n̶c̶h̶ Sylveon. Any Pokemon that is lvl 100 can do the same thing.
